Re: [OT: "All the Way" thoughts—SPOILERS!! and future thoughts]

Greetings,
I'm just going to throw in a teensy tiny bit here.
I havn't see the actual eps(But all the rants make for good eatin') so I can't
stake a claim on a certain POV or anything.
However I can fill in some blanks regarding Why, Hows, and Whos of certain
characters which should take Joss's 'I have everything planned years in
advance' decree and rock it a little. I think he has certain overall goals in
his story but the details rarely are that well known ahead.

Tara- Originally never supposed to happen. Joss always saw Willow/Oz as the
'Stable' relationship on the show.(Boooo hissss) but Seth Green wanted out and
he just walked off the contract. Joss had to do some serious groveling or
something to get Seth back for the ONE later episode. He was hoping to have
him for three. So the whole Tara/Willow thing is and was, originally, Spin
Control. Amazing how well it turned out.

Walsh- Season 4's big bad. That's right, not Adam, Walsh. Adam was supposedto
be a slave. A 'Sympethtic' figure and Walsh his master and some
CyberDemo-Supremecist nut. Ultimatly she would have been destoryed by Adam.
But the actress wanted out and she got out and Joss and Co. had to do some
MAJOR scrambling to get the story back on track.(And everyone who has seen
Season 4 will agree...it wasn't the best.)

Riley- He wasn't supposed to leave is S5. But AGAIN the actor wanted out. Joss
LIKED Riley..liked the whole Riley/Buffy angle. But the actor wanted out asI
said and Joss and Co. had to scramble to create a situation justifying his
departure. Which of course painted Riley as a bad guy, I always thought he was
a somehwhat pleasent chap overall, though defiently no Willow.

So that's how and why evente occured based on RL actions in the BTVS
storyline. Or so I heard.

Oh and one intresting fact?

James Marsters HATES this new Spike...
Odd that eh?

I remain, as always,

Do not cross a storyteller.
A storyteller is, perhaps, the most powerful thing in all of creation.
At their beck and call they have the powers of What Might be, What Could Be,
What Should Be and What Will Be.
All anyone else has is What Is.
All the pontential versus mere reality.
