Apologies and-- Future eps?

Rod, and the other 846 onlookers,

You have no idea how tempting it is to say "my bad" and just sign off.
But I'll try and do a little better.

First, pardon the delay. The mailbox is basically full (I'm bailing
water with a teaspoon, here) and this is an Ultimate TV, where I can't
watch a program at full-screen and be on-line at the same time (since
there's only one screen, natch). So I was watching a basketball game
(Clippers lose in OT, again), and the box filled and I didn't get your
post. I was unaware of it (I haven't had time to check all my boards)
until I got BP's reply. So thanks, BP. And it's indicative of how
off-track we must have gone that you were moved to write at such length.
I guess that's a benefit of lurkdom--when you speak up, it's more
deeply felt.

I also could have responded when sc rose made her goodbye post, but I
thought that would be seen as trying to get the last word in. Besides,
anything I said in response to being called an idiot would probably not
have been as measured as it could have been.

Rod, while I 'm glad my listdad likes my contributions (beats the
alternative, no?), I certainly would never want you to shirk your duties
in any way. I apologize if anyone feels I led you to be derelict in
your duties, which I personally doubt.

And while I could try and win points by noting that two posts in, I
skipped from responding to her and gave instead my ep analysis (with
apology) at top, I certainly returned to my sparring when she responded
to that post. So I had poor self-control and fired back. I'd like to
think I was less virulent, but it still takes two to tango. I tangoed.

And I'll refer to my previous apology (jeez, when you're doing that, you
KNOW you must have goofed) and admit I fanned the fire when I took CA
Moore's vamps-are-humans post as Spike Exaltation and went grrr, however
slightly. That's why I didn't respond to CA's second post. BTW, CA,
yes I think it always has to be a real cross and since vampires predate
man, yes that makes no sense. I also have thoughts on why Angel is
affected, but I'll refrain.

I'd also like to thank those who made positive contributions to the
conversation, like Kirayoshi, Casandra, and Wlfgrrl. Gee, I hope we
haven't scared Wlfgrrl off--I really like her comments on Faithful.
It's worth the strain to remember that there are 2 "r"s in Wlfgrrl to
have her here.

And the really sad part is, when I first saw sc posting, I was happy
because I like her fics.  

Well, I'm glad I started the ep discussion anyway, despite where some of
it may have gone. I'll try and keep it down (my personal correspondence
has suffered and so has my fic because of the time I spend on these
missives) and let others do more.

Martsers is prominent in UPN's latest ads, but that's okay, let Spike
have his moment in the sun. Actually, I'd like Spike to have some
moments in the sun in the literal sense (crackle, crackle), but I'll be
cool.

It's a pity the musical isn't getting a write-up in TV Guide, I thought
sure it would get good press, but I guess with "24" premiering the same
night (and also the "NYPD Blue" premiere that night), Buffy singing
isn't the event of the season.

Does anyone know when Joss will write another ep after "Once More With
Feeling"? We're almost at the end of Kimber's ep list. I know there
was a post with spoilers for 6.9 but I didn't read it so I don't know
the credits. If possible, I'd love something like what Kimber
posted--ep number, title, date, credits and nothing more. Thanks in
advance to anyone who helps.
