Willow tugged the blanket around her waist. 
'What's wrong Tara?' she asked, as she stared at her lovers back. 
Tara pulled a shirt on and continued to gaze at the floor. 
'You w-were being mean' she stuttered. Tara buttoned up her blue 
denim shirt as the 
silence engulfed them both. 
Willow gulped. `Mean?' 
Tara nodded, still keeping her back to Willow, `You're normally 
gentle.' 
Again silence ruled the room. 
Willow started to stare at the floor. 
Tara swallowed and spoke again `I know you wont tell me, but what's 
wrong?' 
Willow continued to stare at the floor as the other girl pulled on a 
pair of jeans and tightened the belt. `You've been acting weird for a 
few days?'
Tara screwed her eyes shut, this would be the hardest moment of her 
life. 
'..I'm going to give you some room for a while. Call me when you're 
ready to 
talk.' 
She stood up, walked over to the dresser and picked up her keys. 
As she silently watched her lover leave.
Willow was unable to look at the face of the girl she loved so much. 
Mean? Was I being too rough, was I being rough? 
She collapsed onto the bed, her arms suddenly unable to support her 
weight. She's screwing 
up my life, and it was probably just a dream! She sat alone on the 
bed, tightly hugging her pillow. 
Could all this have come from just one twisted nightmare?
