Wel, at least we can rule out Willow as this season's Big Bad(hopefully).
Yeppers, saw the episode "Wrecked" just now, and was that a powerful one or what? Plus, finally, Willow realizes how dangerous her magic addiction has become, and we get some Buffy/Willow interaction toward the end! Not WAFFly type stuff, but Buffy said what Willow needed to hear, and what she herself needed to say. They're both dealing with monkeys on their backs; Willow with black magic, Buffy with Spike. They're both bad for you, but the lure is too strong to ignore. BTW, anyone want to guess that Spike's idea of a romantic movie is "Sid and Nancy"?
Okay, with reruns and all, I'm guessing that we won't have any major plotline advancement until February, just in time for Buffy's birthday, the big Two One! I'm guessing that her birthday plotline this year will involve her trying to figure out who and what she's become as a result of her ressurrection. No doubt Spike will be there to cause trouble; he has a better chance of getting into Buffy's panties again when she's lost and confused, so actually helping her out would be against his better interests. And we have the Lone Gunmen, who were mercifully absent this week. Somehow their antics would have been out of place in this ep. Whaddya wanna bet that whatever plan they're cooking up is gonna blow up in their face, leaving Buffy and crew to clean it up? So far, they're our best bet for the season's Big Bad, followed by Spike(MAN, it's great to be able to hate him again!), and Drax(sp), who hasn't forgotten his little 'strawberry', and will no doubt turn up later thi!
s season to torture Willow.
Oh, yeah, this is gonna be a good season.

(relieved that the ep didn't end with Buffy and Spike kissage again!)
"Once, years ago, I saved the life of a wise old priest.
Grateful, he made a gift to me of these few precious words:
If you find yourself on a cliffside, trapped,
with a hungry tiger waiting above
and a hungry tiger waiting below,
and by chance you spy a single strawberry
growing from the cliffside...
pluck the strawberry...
and bite into it...
and taste it."
