Admin: Badtrans.B Warning

We just had the W32.Badtrans.B@mm worm running through our system.
The mail with the subject "Re: Digest Number 930" from "Win Shutten" sent out at 8:40 pm GMT (+5
eastern, +8 pacific) was the bad one.
Everyone with AntiVirus software of the newest date has hopefully caught it, but for everyone else,
you have to get rid of it ASAP

This virus FUBAR'ed the yahoo system, I can't delete the message from the archive, and every time it
is opened on the site, IE goes blooey (be happy if yours doesn't)
I strongly suggest you read the symantec info about it, it has a threat category of *4* (of 5) which
means Severe.

Also, don't feel secure, just cause you don't start the worm, this type can start itself in outlook
and outlook express (yes, it can do that), which is just one of the reasons for it's dangerousness.

*ALSO*: I am setting the list currently into TEXT ONLY as of now. This virus sends itself also with
the help of the addressbook, so, basically, there's very little that is safe, and I want to avoid
spreading this further. In a few days, if all goes well, we'll go back to HTML.
This also means, that all Formatting of messages (like HTML) and Attachments (pics) are killed off
through the yahoo servers, so, please, don't attempt to send these through the list, upload them to
the archive for now (if possible).
