When Trevor got off the phone with Devon Miles he told Captain Reese 
and the others that Devon would check with some people and call back 
in the morning.Prosecutor Michael Eager said well until we hear from 
him i suggest we continue the interrogations.Territorial Prosecutor 
Francis Celain said no we shouldnt continue the interrogations any 
further until we have heard back from Mr.Miles.Michael said why the 
hell should we do that.Francis Celain said so that we dont get 
ourselves in trouble just on the off chance that Miss.Rosenberg is 
innocent like we believe.The other representative of the Territorial 
Prosecutor's office Brenda Smythe said he is absolutely correct 
Michael and if you would think about it you would agree.Detective 
Manning said well if we arent going to continue the interrogations 
what are we going to do with Miss.Rosenberg and Miss.Summers.Captain 
Reese looked over at Brenda and said we can hold them overnight just 
on suspicion.Brenda said yes but if we do we will have to release 
them by noon tommorrow if we dont have anything to support our 
suspicions.Captain Stonetree said well i dont see any choice if we 
dont hold them on suspicion we will have to let them go 
tonight.Territorial Prosecutor Francis Celain said lets hold them 
overnight on suspicion and cross our fingers that Mr.Miles will find 
out something and call us before noon tommorrow.

Captain Reese looked over at Detective Manning and he said detective 
have them sent down to holding.Brenda Smythe said Captain Reese the 
way they are dressed will surely attract unwanted attention and 
unless we want problems down in holding it might be wise for them to 
be placed in a holding cell by themselves.Captain Reese said 
Detective Manning i want you to make sure that they are placed in a 
cell by themselves.Detective Manning said i will make sure of that 
sir.Captain Stonetree said Captain Reese what about slipping in a 
couple cops into another cell in case they start talking about 
something we need to know.Captain Reese said thats a good idea but 
who can we slip in there.Captain Stonetree said well we cant use any 
of the officers who are here tonight just on the off chance that they 
have seen them.Chief Stu Gibson said i know just the detectives for 
the job.Captain Stonetree said which detectives and Chief Gibson said 
Detective Peter Caine,his partner detective Janice Thorton,and 
Detective Kermit.Captain Reese said how soon can you get them here 
and Chief Gibson said hopefully in less than an hour.Captain 
Stonetree said tell them to come through the rear entrance we dont 
want them seeing the three of them.Captain Reese said if you will 
excuse me and Captain Stonetree we need to go start calling our 
superiors and tell them that we have the wrong person.Brenda said 
isnt that jumping the gun and Captain Reese said no because i 
absolutely believe that Miss.Rosenberg isnt one of the mass murderers 
and the sooner we get back to looking for them it may be too late for 
some other unfortunate souls that the mass murderers run across.

Captain Stonetree and Captain Reese went to Captain Reese's office 
and immedietly started making phone calls to their superiors by using 
the two phones that were in the office.The first phone call Captain 
Reese made was to Police Commissioner Vetter's home.When Commissioner 
Vetter picked up the phone he said who the fuck is this.Captain Reese 
said Commissioner Vetter its me Captain Reese of the 96th 
precinct.Commissioner Vetter said Captain Reese do you know what time 
it is.Captain Reese said yes sir but i didnt think that you should 
wait to be informed of the latest development.Commissioner Vetter 
said Captain Reese i already know that we have one of the mass 
murderers in custody thank you very much.Captain Reese said sir some 
questions have come up about whether or not the young lady in 
question is one of the mass murderers.Commissioner Vetter sat up in 
bed and he said what are you talking about I was told earlier that 
she had been absolutely identified as one of them.Captain Reese said 
sir her resemblence to one of the sketches is uncanny but there are 
differences between her and the sketch.Commissioner Vetter said is 
that all and Captain Reese said no sir there is a very good chance 
that she has a concrete alibi for the days that the massacre happened 
on.Commissioner Vetter said Captain Reese either she has a concrete 
alibi or she doesnt now which is it.Captain Reese said sir we are 
having it carefully looked into but if it is real she is 
innocent.Commissioner Vetter said who do you have looking into it and 
Captain Reese said Devon Miles of the FBI's Law Watch 
Unit.Commissioner Vetter yelled who the hell gave anyone permission 
to contact the FBI for help in a case that has nothing to do with 
them.Captain Reese said sir Mr.Miles contacted us after Inspector 
Masterson accessed the files on Miss.Rosenberg and Miss.Summers.

Commissioner Vetter took a minute to calm down and then he said can 
you tell me how Devon Miles found out that Inspector Materson had 
accessed their files.Captain Reese said from what i was told the Law 
Watch Unit had their files flagged and Inspector Masterson flipped 
the flags when he accessed the files.Commissioner Vetter said do you 
think we can trust this Devon Miles and Captain Reese said yes sir i 
am and he is going to call us back in the morning.Commissioner Vetter 
said why is he going to call back in the morning.Captain Reese said 
he is going to tell us where Miss.Rosenberg was between the days of 
April the 12th to April the 15th.Commissioner Vetter said thats good 
thinking Captain Reese and Captain Reese said it was the groups 
decision sir not just mine.Commissioner Vetter said well it is still 
a good idea and then he said i want you and the others to do your 
best to keep this information secret so the press doesnt get wind of 
it.Captain Reese said we will try and to ensure that all the officers 
have been told to use the cellular phones in the car to call in 
information about the crimes or if they spot anyone matching the 
sketches.

About thirty seven minutes later Peter Caine,Kermit,and Janice 
Thorton entered the police station through the rear entrance.They 
were about to head for the front of the station when they bumped into 
Chief Gibson.Chief Gibson said boy am i glad you three are here.Peter 
said Chief why did the three of us get called down here to the 96th 
precinct.Chief Gibson said we need the three of you to go 
undercover.Janice Thorton said whats the case chief and who and what 
are we to go undercover as.Chief Gibson said the case is the mass 
massacre,you will be going undercover under your own names but not as 
cops.Kermit said who are we going after and what has he done.Chief 
Gibson said this is a bit different than usual undercover cases 
because one you three will be placed down in one of the holding 
cells.Janice Thorton said why and Chief Gibson said we have a young 
lady who looks exactly like one of the people who committed the 
massacre at the ski lodge.Peter said then why dont you just charge 
her with the crime.Chief Gibson said we cant because of testimony of 
her and her girlfriend which led us to stuff which might proof her 
innocence.Janice said you want us to be put in a jail cell in case 
either of them say something incriminating and Chief Gibson said yes 
exactly.Peter said well i am all for it and Kermit said i will do 
whatever is neccessary to stop these mass murderers.Chief Gibson said 
you three wait here i will go tell Captain Reese and Captain 
Stonetree that you are here and have agreed to go undercover.Janice 
said are they down in a holding cell yet and Chief Gibson said no 
they are both still in seperate interrogation rooms
