Devon Miles took a sip of coffee from a cup and then he looked at 
the clock on the wall and saw what time it was.Devon picked up the 
phone and then dialed the phone number for Captain Reese's office.A 
few seconds later the phone was picked up and Captain Young said 
Captain Young speaking.Devon hesitated for a few moments and then he 
said this is Devon Miles i have some information that Captain Reese 
and Inspector Masterson need.Captain Young said please hold on 
Mr.Miles i am going to send someone to get Captain Reese.Captain 
Young set the reciever down and then he walked over to the office 
door.Captain Young opened it and he instantly saw a patrolman over at 
the coffeepot.Captain Young said Brockton go to the conference room 
and wake up Captains Reese and Stonetree.Brockton looked at Captain 
Young and he said sir what am i supposed to tell them after i wake 
them up.Captain Young said tell them Devon Miles is on the phone.

Less than three minutes later Captain Reese and Captain Stonetree 
walked into the office and Captain Reese shut the door behind 
him.Captain Young picked up the phone when he saw them enter and he 
said Mr.Miles please hold on i am going to switch over to the 
conference speaker.Captain Young pressed a button on the phone and 
then he placed the reciever in its cradle.Captain Young said Mr.Miles 
are you there and Devon said yes i am here.Captain Young gestured for 
either Captain Reese or Captain Stonetree to take over the 
conversation.Captain Reese said Mr.Miles were you able to find out 
anything.Devon said please call me Devon but to answer your question 
yes i did find out something although i dont think that any of you 
will like it too much.Captain Young said Devon are you saying that 
Miss.Rosenberg can possibly be one of the seven mass murderers.Devon 
said no what i mean is that she cant be one of the seven mass 
murderers which mean you have seven mass murderers running around 
loose up there.Captain Reese grimaced and he said Devon what exactly 
did you find out.Devon said well i spent most of this morning calling 
people trying to find out if they were under surveilance and after i 
made a call i got a phone call from an associate i hadnt even 
considered contacting to ask him if they were under surveilance.
Captain Stonetree said so your associate supported Miss.Rosenberg and 
Miss.Summers stories.Devon said I didnt tell him anything it was him 
who told me that they and Miss.Summer's mother was at an art 
convention in St.Louis from the 12th to the 15th.Captain Young said 
how can he be so sure where Miss.Rosenberg was.Devon said it seems 
that my associate and his subordinates have kept daily tabs on her 
where abouts and an agent or two attended the art convention after 
the newspaper printed her picture and told about what she had 
done.Captain Stonetree said why would he have someone watch her so 
carefully and Captain Reese said to see that she didnt reveal 
anything about the NSP programs that the goverment is using.Devon 
said thats exactly it Captain Reese.Captain Young said Devon that was 
sly of you to get your associate to tell you where exactly 
Miss.Rosenberg was without giving away the story they had told 
us.Devon said working with the goverment like i am i have learned not 
to take anyone at face value and its better to trick someone into 
telling you what you need to know instead of giving them information 
which they can lie about.Captain Reese said well Devon we all 
appreciate the help and Devon said it was my pleasure to be able to 
help you and then he hung up the phone.

Captain Young switched off the conference speaker and then he said 
well gentlemen what are we going to do now.Captain Stonetree said the 
first thing we have to do is to release Miss.Rosenberg and 
Miss.Summers.Captain Reese said we also need to stress that we were 
just doing our job because we truly thought Miss.Rosenberg was one of 
the murderers.Captain Young said i will have someone go get them and 
bring them up here so we can talk to him.Captain Young walked over to 
the door and opened it up.Captain Young saw Sgt.Gonzales over at his 
desk and he said Sgt.Gonzales go down to the holding cell and bring 
Miss.Rosenberg and Miss.Summers to my office.

When Captain Young walked back into the office Captain Stonetree 
said Captain Young we will need to make copies of the picture that 
was taken of Miss.Rosenberg last night.Captain Young said why and 
Captain Reese said so that we can pass them out to the police 
officers we dont want a repeat of what happened last night.Captain 
Young said your right of course i doubt that Miss.Rosenberg would 
truly be understanding if she was arrested a second time after being 
mistaken for one of the murderers.Captain Reese said we not only need 
to get copies to the officers in Toronto but all of Canada.

A minute later Kwai Chang Caine walked into the police station and 
after looking around he asked a patrolman where he could find 
Detective Janice Thorton.The Patrolman looked around and then he said 
hey does anyone know where Detective Janice Thorton is.One patrolman 
said yeah she is down in the shooting range getting some practice 
in.Kwai Chang Caine said where is the shooting range and how can i 
get there.The patrolman said who are you and whats your bussiness 
with Detective Thorton.Kwai Chang Caine said i recieved a message 
from Detective Janice Thorton via my beeper asking me to come here 
and see her and my son Peter.Sgt.Otis who was nearby looked up and 
after seeing the man and how he was dressed he said are you Kwai 
Chang Caine and Caine said yes i am.Sgt.Otis said Callzetti take him 
to the shooting range or where ever Detectives Thorton or Caine 
are.Patrolman Calzetti said follow me sir and he led Caine down a 
hallway and then went up several flights of stairs until they reached 
the floor which held the armory and shooting range.

Five minutes after Captain Young sent Sgt.Gonzales to get Buffy and 
Willow there was a knock on the door.Captain Young saw that it was 
Sgt.Gonzales and he said bring them on in.Sgt.Gonzales opened the 
door and he waved them inside.Buffy and Willow walked into the office 
and Captain Young said please have a seat.Willow and Buffy walked 
over to two empty chairs and they sat down in it.Captain Young said 
Miss.Rosenberg Miss Summers we are really sorry that you were both 
arrested last night.Captain Reese said as you both already know 
Miss.Rosenberg was mistaken for someone who is a mass murderer and it 
is our duty to get all of them off them off the street.Willow said 
Captain Reese i completely understand that you and your men were just 
doing your duty and i hold no anger or bad feelings because i was 
mistaken for someone who does look almost exactly for me.Captain 
Reese said thank you Miss.Rosenberg.Buffy said Captain i hope that 
you and these other Captains will take steps to make sure that this 
doesnt happen again.Captain Young said we have already put such a 
step in motion to prevent it from happening again.Willow said are we 
free to go and Captain Stonetree said yes you are both free to 
go.Captain Reese said please let us escort you to the exit but Willow 
said before we can leave we need our motorcycle and the keys to it 
returned to us.Captain Reese said what motorcycle are you talking 
about.Willow said we were riding one of the new Indian motorcycles 
when we were arrested and one of the detectives who was at the gas 
station took the keys to the motorcycle so it could be brought here 
to the station.Captain Young said i will go look into it and Captain 
Stonetree said and i will help you because i know which detectives 
were at the gas station.

Captain Young and Captain Stonetree were looking into the 
whereabouts of the Indian motorcycle and the keys to it when 
Peter,Janice,Kermit,and Kwai Chang Caine walked up to them.Peter said 
Captain Young my father is here.Captain Young looked up and he saw 
Kwai Chang Caine standing next to Peter.Captain Young said Captain 
Stonetree said will you excuse me for a moment i want to introduce 
Peter's father to Miss.Rosenberg and Miss.Summers.Captain Stonetree 
said sure go ahead and then Captain Young turned to leave but then he 
saw that Kwai Chang Caine was no longer besides Peter.Captain Young 
said Peter where is your father.Peter turned to look to his left and 
when he saw that he wasnt there he looked around the room.Peter saw 
his father standing in front of Miss.Summers and Miss.Rosenberg and 
it looked like he was talking to them.Peter said he is over there 
Captain Young and he pointed over to where his father was.

Kwai Chang Caine was standing next to Peter who was talking to a 
Captain when he felt two presences in the room with him.Caine looked 
around and he instantly traced the two presences he felt radiating 
from two young women that was across the room.Caine quietly excused 
himself from his son and his collegues and started walking over 
toward the young ladies.Caine was less than ten feet away when he 
realized that the presences that he was sensing was that of an 
immortal.When Caine got even closer he felt their auras and he 
couldnt believe what he was sensing although he knew it was true.When 
Caine walked up to them he bowed and said i am Kwai Chang Caine 
priest of Shaolin and a Shamballa Master and i am honored to meet you 
both.Buffy was puzzled by this but Willow just bowed back and said we 
are equally honored to meet you Kwai Chang Caine.Buffy looked at 
Willow and she said Willow whats up.Willow said please excuse my 
partner Kwai Chang Caine she is not as familiar with Shaolin or 
Shamballa as i am much less your ancestor who's name you bear.Caine 
said please call me Caine but what may i call you.Buffy said i am 
Buffy Summers and this is Willow Rosenberg.Caine said may i ask why 
you are here in Toronto.Willow looked around and then in Cantonese 
she said we are here to stop a group that cannot be stopped by the 
police.Buffy said Willow what are you doing you cant tell him.Willow 
looked at Buffy and said Buffy in the past back in China it was 
Shaolin priests who trained young women like you not those British 
bums.In Cantonese Caine said yes i know what you are as well as what 
Willow is.Willow said Buffy a shaolin priest is much more in touch 
with nature than almost anybody including most wiccans so they can 
see auras and presences that others miss.Buffy said well what is a 
Shamballa Master.Caine said Shamballa is a level that even surpasses 
that of Shaolin and it is a great honor and responsibility to be 
given.In Cantonese Caine asked them if they thought they might need 
help with the group they were going up against.Buffy said we already 
have some help but if we do we will have to get the permission of the 
people we are working with.Caine said if you need my help and they 
will agree to let me help come to Chinatown and tell any of the 
merchants that you need to speak to me and i will find you.

The next second Peter,Janice,Kermit,and Captain Young walked up and 
Peter said Pop what are you doing.Caine looked at his son and he said 
i am just talking to these two young ladies.Buffy and Willow looked 
at Peter and the others and Buffy said hey you three are cops arent 
you.Janice started to say no we arent but Caine said yes my son and 
these two are detectives that work out of the precinct in 
Chinatown.Buffy said hey we really appreciate what you did for us 
last night and Kermit and Peter both turned red in the face because 
of the embarrasment.Captain Young said what did they do for 
you.Willow said they moved some of the bunks and used blankets and 
sheets to make a type of curtain so no one could see into the cell we 
were in.Captain Young said why did you do that and Janice said 
captain we already told you about what they talked about and did last 
night.Buffy said hey you told him what we did last night and Peter 
said hey we had to but we just told him you did it not give him any 
details.Janice slapped Peter on the back of the head and said thats 
because we dont know any details we didnt watch them.Buffy and Willow 
looked at each other and at the same time they saw they have 
loveritis.Peter and Janice both whirled to face Buffy and Willow and 
they both said no we dont.Willow said protesting is a surefire sign 
of loveitis and Buffy said yeah it sure is.Kermit started laughing 
and Peter and Janice both turned to face him and said whats so 
funny.Kermit said that two strangers were able to pick up on your 
feelings for each other almost automatically and then he started 
laughing.
