Dear Douglas,

Hey there! Glad to hear people actually remember my little fic.

I know it's been a long time since my last update, and for that I am
truly sorry. Believe me, I want to finish "Firstborn" as much as some
of you guys appear to want to read it.

Yes I'm well. Other than one mother of a case of mono back in October,
the worst that's happened to me has been to find out that my dad is
teaching my freshman history class (can we all say 20 page term paper
assigned the first day? Hey he gave us a whole 6 days to write it.)

Yes, my father is a sadist.... but he's also one Hell of a history
professor!

So hopefully I can get the next chapter out in a week or so.

Again, I'm very sorry about the wait. It's been hard on me too (I live
for the feedback.)
