According to my rumour mill...

Buffy will be the big bad in Season 7, when they end the series once 
and for all. Amy will be this season's big bad, and Willow will be 
forced to stop her... using a spell that ends all mortal forms of 
magic. A side effect of this will be that she inadvertently kills 
Tara and a number of 'magical folk'.
