She'd started to cast a spell as soon as she heard the footsteps 
stalking her. A simple spell to paralyse. After all... It might just 
be Xander again playing one of his stupid tricks...
The slap broke her chain of concentration, and the spell died, 
stillborn. She fell to her knees, dazed. A kick sent her sprawling, 
face-down, and the unmistakable metallic ring of a sword being drawn 
froze her in place, caught like a doe in the headlights of an 
articulated truck.
A sword-point touched upon her neck as if to reinforce the message. 
Don't move. Pain speared through her as the point pressed deeper, 
piercing the skin. Warm lips pressed against her ear, and she knew 
that whoever was holding her pinned with the sword was not alone. A 
tongue lapped gently at the blood that issued forth from the cut in 
her neck, and a husky voice whispered, "Watashi wa nameo de Kyoko 
desu. Your Slayer will die!"
"No!" The invective escaped her lips before she could control it, 
and her last memories of that darkened alley were of teeth biting 
deep, raping her will.
