Honestly? (Have I ever been anything else?)
You'd have one HELL of a time convincing me.
First off, being a Chosen Warrior of Light the Malebolgia would have
..ahem..the Devil's own time somehow divirting the decesced slayers soul sohe
could make his pitch.

Also I really don't think it would be worth the trouble. The Malebogolia
didn't get to be the Malebolgia by being stupid. Yes, it would be one hell of
a feather in the cap if he COULD get a Slayer as a HellSpawn, but the
possibility of being bitten on the ass if she ever 'comes round' what with her
hellborn powers AND the Slayers skills.

Faith on the other hand...

Finally there's the story of Spawn itself.
Todd, as can be evindenced in just how pathetic Spawn comics became after the
first twenty five or so, wrote himself into a corner. There is simply no way
to write a 'Neat Ending' to a tale like that. And any ending that can be
concieved would requiare, at the very least, the entire end of mankind. Evil
taking a massive whallop upside the head and the entire status quo of reality
being disrupted.
Tod being, in my opinion, a weenie, refuses to aknowledge this and just keeps
on churning out gorier and gorier, (And at the same time, increasingly idotoic
'issues') Course that's just me.

ON THE OTHER HAND...
Mixing the two continuities would be quite the task and does have a certain
pontential. Any author who would do so would have to embrace the true
possiblity, nay, near certainty, that any story would end, at the very least,
Grey, if not out and out badly.

Tod's world, to his credit, is DARK. The blunt, unsutble darkness of an
oncoming train, but dark nonetheless.

Darkness, if you're up for it, lends itself well to creativity, since all
those pesky morals can be cast to the roadside. However, what with a world
like Tod's, the temptation for 'Bigger, Better, Nastier' grows and any author
would have to be very careful not to fall into the trap of

'Wow, let's give the next bad guy Quantum Singluaritly Creating Jock Straps!'.

Something Tod himself has fallen prey too. Oh come on, admit it, the man isin
a rut!

However any story has ponential and while I'm not intrested in writing any
X-Overs, (My feelings on X-Overs are pretty much to the 'No way' direction)I
would be intresting in seeing what anyone else has to off the community in
such a genre.

Again though, Spawn stories NEVER end happily.

Not unless you're willing to blow up half the universe.
Hmm..I'll have to try that sometime. Which half should I do.
Your half..or my half...hmmm...

I remain, as always,

There is only one thing that can damn me.
That can send me down in a swirling maelstrom of fire and pain.
And it is not the word of Man.
And it is not the lessons and rules of the Church, hypocrites every one.
And it is not the words of God, nor the judgements of Angels.
And it not a fair tribunal of my 'peers' that can find me guilty of crimes
immortal.
No.
I can only be accused, judged and damned by my own Soul.
And I would never be so betrayed.
