When the helicopter Natalie,Jill,Grace and several others were 
aboard landed at the airport Captain Stonetree was there to meet 
them.Captain Stonetree walked up to them and he introduced himself to 
those who didnt already know him.Captain Stonetree said before any of 
you leave i need the files you made about the massacre.Natalie handed 
her files right over to him and the others followed her example.
Captain Stonetree said on behalf of the police i thank you for 
helping us with this case and then he headed to his car.

It took a few minutes for their suitcases and packs of equipment to 
be unloaded from the second helicopter.When Jill,Grace,and Natalie 
had their stuff they started walking toward the parking lot where 
their cars were parked.They were almost to Jill and Grace's cars 
which were parked right next to each other when Lacroix landed in 
front of them.Lacroix said Natalie you and your assistants are to go 
straight to the Raven when you leave here.Natalie said Lacroix I am 
very tired and exhausted whatever needs my attention at the Raven can 
wait until tommorrow.Natalie said all i am going to do tonight is go 
home,take a nice long hot shower,and then go directly to bed.Lacroix 
said Natalie i know you and your assistants are tired but Nick and 
the others who are hunting the demon vampires down need the curare 
solution immedietly.Jill looked at Natalie and she said i hate to say 
it but he is right.Grace said yes and we can get it done faster if 
the three of us do it together but Lacroix we will have to go to the 
lab to do it.Lacroix said thats not neccessary i have had a labratory 
set up for you in the Raven's basement and it has the same equipment 
that is in your lab at work Natalie.Natalie said we dont need to make 
any curare solution i have a gallon of it already made back at my 
lab.Jill said no you dont there is no way me and Grace could have 
missed it we work with you if you have forgotten.Natalie said i am 
talking about my second lab and then she said where did you two think 
i had been doing my research without you two or anyone else catching 
on.Lacroix said where is the lab and Natalie said oh no i am not 
telling you where it is.Lacroix said Natalie tell me where it is i 
can get the curare solution to Nick and the others tonight.Natalie 
said no i will call the elders when i get home and tell them where it 
is so they can have an enforcer get it and take it to Nick.

Natalie said Jill i will see you and Grace tommorrow night at work 
and then she started walking toward her car.Lacroix started to follow 
her but Jill and Grace both dropped what they were carrying and 
grabbed a hold of his arms.Jill said Lacroix you heard her she will 
call the elders when she gets home and tell them where her lab is so 
just leave her alone.Lacroix looked at them and he said so Dr.Lambert 
has two more protectors who wish to protect her from me.Jill said 
Lacroix you may be an old and powerfull master vampire among the 
nightwalkers but me and Grace are Tremere and Arborean with several 
centuries under our belts as well do you really want to take us both 
on at the same time.The next second Lacroix had his right hand around 
Jill's neck and he was holding her several feet off the ground.
Lacroix said with the slight twist of my wrist i could break your 
neck Tremere and that would leave Grace to face me alone and even 
though she is Arborean she wouldnt last long against me without help.

Grace reached under her coat and pulled out a Berretta 93R which she 
shoved against Lacroix's chest.Grace said this is all the help i 
would need Lacroix and before you think about grabbing for my gun 
take a look down at what Jill is holding.Lacroix suddenly felt 
another poke in his chest at he looked down to see a double barreled 
sawed off shotgun which resembled a pistol more than a shotgun that 
Jill was holding.Grace said now lower Jill to the ground and Lacroix 
did as he was told.After letting go of Jill's neck Lacroix said i 
know when i am checkmated and then he took to the air heading for the 
Raven.

As Natalie was pulling up to the parking lot's exit she saw in the 
rearview mirror that Jill and Grace were talking to Lacroix.After 
pulling out of the parking lot Natalie used the wrist cellular phone 
she had been given to call the elders.Natalie quickly told the elders 
of her second labratory,where it was,how to gain entrance to it,what 
the security code was to deactivate the alarm and some security 
defenses she built and installed herself,and where the gallon of the 
curare solution could be found in the lab.One of the elders said 
Dr.Lambert may i ask why you already had a gallon of the curare 
solution made up in your lab.Natalie said Elders i started making a 
gallon of the curare solution every month after the Toronto community 
was exposed to the plague.An elder said but why what were you going 
to do so much curare solution.Natalie said i was not going to do 
nothing with it i was just having it on hand in case there was 
another outbreak of something that effected the community.Natalie 
said Elders if there is another outbreak i was going to give the 
curare solution to Nick and Lacroix so that most of the Toronto 
community could be sedated which would give me time to search for a 
cure.An elder said Dr.Lambert if i heard you correctly you stated 
that you have been making a gallon of the curare solution every month 
if that is so exactly how many gallons do you have of the curare 
solution.Natalie said i have only one gallon of the curare solution 
because it is only good for thirty days after being made.An elder 
said so you must make a new batch every month.Natalie said yes Elders 
that is correct.A female elder said you have been doing the right 
thing and by the way do not tell anyone else where your secret lab is 
it may be needed once you become an enforcer.Natalie said i have no 
plans of telling anyone else of its existence much less its 
location.An elder said do i take it that not even Nicholas knows of 
it.Natalie said no he doesnt he thinks i still do my testing at the 
labs i used to use.Natalie said Elders my studies have progressed 
further than you were aware of and an elder said we already know we 
were informed by Grace and Jill after you told them.An elder said we 
will require a complete copy of your research for the 
archives.Natalie said i have a copy in the lab safe and she told them 
the combination for the safe.The combination was written down and the 
elders said goodnight Dr.Lambert and then the phone was hung up.

A minute after the vampire who had gone to get the video tapes from 
the van had left she was back with the tapes but she was accompanied 
by an enforcer.The enforcer said Jeannette what is going on 
here.Jeannette said Faith has captured one of the watchers and she is 
going to have some fun with him while embarrasing him and the whole 
watcher's council in the process.The enforcer said exactly what is 
she going to do and why are you three helping her.Jeannette said we 
are helping her because she asked and we want to watch what 
happens.The vampire who was a former mountain climber said what we 
are going to do is hang him over the lion's habitat with the pulleys 
i have already put in place.The enforcer looked at Faith and said you 
plan to feed him to the lions.Faith said no i am just going to make 
him think i am and then she motioned back behind her and said thats 
what the lions are going to get.The enforcer looked over where Faith 
had gestured towards and he saw the steer.The enforcer said this just 
may be fun to watch.Faith said well if you are going to want a copy 
of what happens you had better tell me now before i run out of 
tapes.Jeannette said Faith you can always get more tapes to use to 
make copies.The enforcer said record what do you mean by that.The 
vampire who had gone to get the video tapes said she brought these 
two video cameras and tripods so that she could record what 
happens.The enforcer said i definitely want a copy and so will the 
elders most likely.

A vampire walked up to Faith and said i have the pulleys rigged up 
but is there any specific way you want it set up.Faith said yes i 
want the steer where he cant see it and i want to have a rope right 
around here which i can cut with a sword.Jeannette said why do you 
want to do that.Faith said once i cut the rope he will go flying 
further over the habitat and the steer will go down to the floor of 
the lions habitat.The enforcer said that will scare the shit out of 
him thinking that you are going to feed him to the lions.Jeannette 
said speaking of lions it seems that the scent of the dead steer has 
awakened the lions.They all looked down into the habitat and the 
lions were all awake walking around.Faith said they sure do look 
hungry.The enforcer said most animals in zoos are only fed about half 
what they need because they dont want them getting fat and lazy.Faith 
said well they are definitely going to eat their fill tonight.The 
enforcer said yes a steer that size will definitely feed them all til 
they are content.

The next second Jeannette's cellular phone rang and Jeannette took 
it out of her jacket pocket.She flipped it open before putting it to 
her ear and said hello.Lacroix said Jeannette where are you and why 
did you leave the Raven without letting me know.Jeannette said Lucien 
i am at the Toronto zoo and i and several others are helping Faith 
set up a prank for a watcher which she already got her hands 
on.Lacroix said if she already found where the watchers were staying 
why didnt she grab both of them at one time.Jeannette said Faith 
wants to play cat and mouse Lucien surely you understand that and she 
is saving Quentin Travers for last.Faith said tell whoever it is i 
want to make Quentin squirm before i pounce on him.Jeannette said did 
you hear that Lacroix and Lacroix said yes i heard her but what is 
this prank she is going to do.Jeannette said she is going to hang him 
over the lion habitat and let him think she is going to feed him to 
the lions.Lacroix said she is not really going to do that and 
Jeannette said no she is going to leave him hanging and let someone 
find him in the morning.Lacroix said he will most definitely be 
turned over to the police and Jeannette said yes and i am sure that 
an anonymous phone call can be made to let them know he was one of 
the impostors.Lacroix said i am sorely tempted to come and watch it 
for myself but someone must stay here to oversee that the community 
stays intact.Jeannette said do not worry Lucien we are going to 
record all of it and i will bring one of the video tapes to the Raven 
with me when we are finished.Lacroix laughed and then said come 
straight to the raven once your finished i will have a vcr and tv set 
up so i can watch it.
