When they walked out of the rv Xena whistled to get everyone's 
attention and then waved her right arm to get them to come over to 
the rv.A minute later Xena said there has been a change in today's 
plans instead of us continuing the bloodhunt we are all going to go 
to a motel that we will stay at until nightfall.The leader said why 
are we going to do that.Michelle said because the Elders told us to 
they wish to discuss some new information with the Kindred conclaves 
in London and Ottawa before we make any further moves.Buffy said 
there is a nice motel about two miles down the road past the four way 
stop that looks to be almost completely empty so lets go there.Xena 
said come on its past four thirty the sun will be coming up in about 
an hour and i want us all to be in a motel room by then.Everyone 
headed for the vechicles they were riding in or on and they started 
following the van Buffy was driving.

As the convoy of vechicles were approaching the motel Nick told 
Marcus who was driving to let him off in front of the motel near the 
office.Marcus said why and Nick said so i can rent us some motel 
rooms.Marcus said we can all rent our own motel rooms.Nick said 
Marcus its better that just one person rent the motel rooms so only 
that person can be identified by the motel's clerk.Nick continued on 
by saying and anyway you and most of the others are openly armed and 
no one in their right mind would let you stay at the motel they work 
at.Aristotle said Nick's right Marcus either they would refuse to let 
us stay or they would call the police which is attention we dont want 
or need.Marcus said Nick I am about to turn into the front parking 
lot.Nick said once you have dropped me off head back to the parking 
area for the rv and diesel trucks i will walk back to you and the 
others once i have got us enough rooms.

Nick exited the rv when it stopped near the office and he walked 
inside the office.Nick looked around seeing that the motel's office 
was nicely decorated and whoever the owner was had some good taste in 
furniture and art.The motel clerk behind the sign in desk said excuse 
me sir but can i help you.Nick walked up to the sign in desk and he 
said yes i am with a large group and we need some motel rooms for the 
day.The motel clerk said sir its the motel's policy that people be 
gone by noon if they arent spending another night here.Nick said we 
will be here tonight if you have enough rooms for us.The motel clerk 
said i am pretty sure we do but how many are in your group.Nick 
thought for a second and he said about forty five people.The motel 
clerk said that is a really large group and Nick said i know.The 
motel clerk said let me see if i have enough rooms and by the way i 
will need you to pay in advance because i cant afford to let a group 
as large as yours to leave without paying.A minute later the motel 
clerk said we have twenty eight rooms still available but i am afraid 
that most of them are double rooms.Nick said that will be fine as 
long as there are two beds in those rooms.The motel clerk said oh 
there is and then he said how are you going to pay for the motel 
rooms sir.Nick pulled out his wallet and he took out the corporate 
credit card for the Debrandt Foundation which he almost never used 
but carried around for emergencies.Nick said i will use this and he 
handed the credit card to the motel clerk.The motel clerk looked at 
the credit card and after running it through the credit card reader 
he said you work for some corporate company.Nick didnt say anything 
not wanting to give the motel clerk an answer one way or another.
After the payment had been cleared the motel clerk started gathering 
keys for the motel rooms.Nick had to put most of the keys into the 
pockets of his leather coat but he held onto the keys for the single 
rooms in his hands.Nick said goodbye to the motel clerk and then 
walked out of the office.

Nick had just stepped out of the office when he saw Xena and 
Michelle walking toward him.Nick intercepted them and he said i 
rented us some rooms but I'm afraid most of them are double 
rooms.Xena said did you get us any single rooms and Nick said yes i 
got six of them.Xena said good hand me two keys for the single rooms 
and two keys for the double rooms.Nick said why and Xena said because 
there are certain individuals who need to have certain rooms.Michelle 
said you can give me a key to a single room i have no intention of 
sharing a room with anyone.Nick handed out the keys that Xena and 
Michelle had asked for.Once Xena had the four keys she headed back to 
where the others were and Nick and Michelle followed her.

When the three of them got to the group Xena called out to Gabrielle,
Buffy,Willow,Angel,Cordelia,Tracy,and Vachon.Nick watched as the 
people called walked up to Xena.Xena said i have the keys to the 
motel rooms you will be using.Xena passed one of the single keys to 
Buffy and she said this is the one for you and Willow.Xena looked at 
Cordelia and she said Cordelia you and Tracy will share a room and 
Angel and Vachon will share another.Cordelia and Vachon took the keys 
and started to walk away.Xena said hey dont you six go anywhere yet 
we need to quickly unload the vechicles and get everything inside our 
motel rooms.Gabrielle slid up beside Xena and she said you did get us 
a single room didnt you and Xena said of course i did.Michelle and 
Nick walked around passing out the keys to the others while the 
vechicles were being unloaded.

Buffy,Willow,and Cordelia walked up to Xena and Michelle who were 
watching to see everything was taken into the motel rooms.Buffy said 
Michelle according to Willow you have the key to the masariti.
Michelle said yes i do and i am going to keep it so dont even ask for 
it.Willow said Michelle you cant use it durring the day so please let 
us three use it to go shopping in today.Xena said hey this is not the 
time to go shopping we are here on bussiness.Cordelia said Xena chill 
out we are staying here all day so why cant me,Willow,and Buffy go 
shopping.Michelle looked at Xena and she said there really isnt any 
reason why they cant go shopping.Xena said ok you three can go 
shopping but you have to get a chaperone to go with you.Willow said 
but who can we ask to go with us.Tracy who had been walking with 
Vachon who was telling her to be carefull heard the end of their 
conversation.Tracy said what do you need a chaperone to do.Xena said 
to watch over them while they go shopping.Tracy got a gleam in her 
eye and she said i will do it.Michelle said are you sure of that and 
Tracy said oh yeah i like to go shopping myself and i do need some 
new clothes.Cordelia said guys wait here i am going to get a credit 
card from Angel he did after all promise me a shopping trip while we 
are up here.Michelle reached into her pocket and she was about to 
hand over the key to the Masariti when Xena said Buffy if there are 
four of you going you will have to take a van or a humvee because 
there isnt enough room for all of you in the masariti.Buffy said we 
could take two of the cars.Michelle said oh no we arent going to let 
any of you young ladies get out on the streets in those cars you 
couldnt control yourselves.Buffy said your one to talk we saw the way 
you sped out of the park's parking lot.Willow said yeah and according 
to Lassiter you stopped by a small race track on the way back and did 
some laps around the track in the Masariti.Xena looked at Michelle 
while one of her eyebrows were raised to give Michelle the 
look.Michelle said ok ok i couldnt completely control myself after 
being behind the wheel of the Masariti for so long and keeping it at 
the posted speed limit.Tracy said we will take one of the humvees and 
i will be driving.Xena said i will bring a key to one of the humvees 
to your room in a few minutes.

A minute later Cordelia walked up and she said hey guys look what 
Angel gave me and she showed them a credit card that had the name of 
the detective Agency and underneath it was her Cordelia's name.Willow 
said Cordelia i dont know why you went to get a credit card from 
Angel when you already have several credit cards of your own.Buffy 
said Willow she was promised a shopping trip by Angel and she is just 
seeing to it that the promise is kept even though he cant come 
along.Tracy looked at Vachon and he said oh Vachon can i have one of 
your credit cards.Vachon said Tracy i only have two credit cards and 
they are both almost completely maxed out.Vachon said Tracy if you 
want a credit card go ask your partner he's loaded and can easily 
afford it.Tracy said he's my partner not my boyfriend i cant ask him 
for one of his credit cards.Willow said Tracy dont worry i will pay 
for your purchases.Tracy looked at Willow and she said i cant allow 
that you are going to be shopping for yourself.Buffy said Tracy we 
can afford it quite easily so let this be repayment for helping us 
and these guys track down the demon vampires.Willow said Tracy if you 
are worried about my financial wellbeing dont i am terribly rich and 
a couple thousand dollars on clothes is pocket change for me although 
i dont consider a couple thousand dollars as pocket change.Buffy said 
Willow your babbling and Willow said sorry.
