Ten minutes later Tracy pulled into the parking lot of the Danbaugh 
Mall but she drove around the mall until they came to the police 
station that was part of the mall.Tracy parked the humvee within 
clear sight of the police station and Cordelia said Tracy why did you 
drive us all around the mall to park here.Tracy said i brought us 
around here so that the humvee could be watched by that police 
officer who's only duty is to watch over the parking lot so none of 
the police cars are messed with.As they were climbing out of the 
humvee Tracy said are all of you armed and did you bring your permits 
with you.Buffy said yes me and Willow are armed and Cordelia said so 
am i.Tracy said what about the permits do you have them.Buffy and 
Willow pulled their permits out of their coat pockets and Cordelia 
said i never go anywhere without my permit and gun anymore.Tracy said 
you three are too young to be so senile and see threats everywhere.
Buffy said Tracy we arent senile we are just cautious just like the 
way we learned to live by living on a hellmouth and fighting what we 
have to.Tracy said lets not talk about that inside we dont want to 
make anyone think we are crazy.

Buffy and the others had just entered the mall when six police 
officers walked out of the police station.All the police officers had 
one of their hands on the handle of their guns and one of them said 
Ma'am i am going to have to ask you and these three young ladies to 
join us in the police station.Tracy said of course and she said come 
on and they walked into the police station while being surrounded by 
the six police officers.Once inside Tracy looked at the nametag on 
the police Sgt's shirt and she said Sgt.Dewitt i am Detective Tracy 
Vetter from Toronto's 96th precinct.Sgt.Dewitt said let me see some 
id and Tracy handed him her detective id case.Sgt.Dewitt said i 
apologize detective Vetter for having my men stop you and your 
associates but i had to since you are all armed.Sgt.Dewitt looked at 
Buffy,Willow,and Cordelia and said are you three also police 
officers.Buffy said no we arent but me and Willow are bonded couriers 
for several art and antique galleries and we have permits that allow 
us to carry semi automatic guns anywhere in Canada that we 
please.Cordelia said i work at a private detective agency and i also 
have a permit which allows me to go armed in Canada.Sgt.Dewitt said i 
need to see your permits and they all pulled them out and handed them 
over to Sgt.Dewitt.A minute later Sgt.Dewitt handed the permits back 
and he said what kind of guns are you armed with.Willow said we are 
armed with semi automatic 9mm glocks and she opened up her coat so he 
could see the pistols she was armed with.Sgt.Dewitt told the six 
officers to go back to what they had been doing and then he turned to 
look at Tracy.Sgt.Dewitt said may i ask to know why you four have 
come to the mall.Cordelia raised her eyes to look up and she said we 
have come to shop for clothes.Sgt.Dewitt said well enjoy your visit 
to the mall and he said goodbye as they walked out of the police 
station.

About an hour later Tracy,Willow, and Cordelia were waiting in line 
to pay for some clothes they were going to get when Cordelia suddenly 
had a vision.Willow instantly dropped what she was holding and 
grabbed for Cordelia so that she wouldnt hurt herself if she fell.
Buffy walked up and she said what did you see Cordelia.Cordelia 
waited a few seconds and she said trouble right here in the 
mall.Buffy said come on we will have to forget about the clothes for 
now.They all dropped the clothes on a table as they headed out of the 
store.Once out of the store Willow looked for a secluded place they 
could talk without being heard.Willow saw one and she said come on 
lets go over there.When they reached the secluded place Willow said 
what kind of trouble and Cordelia said the serious sunnydale type.
Buffy said what are we going to be facing or didnt you recognize any 
of them.Cordelia said one Nodic demon,about six demon vampires,and 
what i think are two demon wolves.Buffy said but thats not possible 
there are only supposed to be seven demon wolves and they are with 
the ones we are hunting.Willow said no we only assumed that there 
were seven and remeber that old saying about assuming things.Willow 
said hold on its broad daylight how can demon vamps be walking around 
in the mall when there are windows above letting in sunlight.Cordelia 
said i dont know i just told you what i saw.The next second Cordelia 
remebered something and she looked at her watch.Cordelia said oh damn 
they are going to attack us in about four minutes.Tracy said how can 
you be so sure of that and Cordelia said in the vision i saw a clock 
right behind them and i remeber what time it was.Buffy said we have 
to get the people out of here somehow they could easily be hurt or 
get in the way of the fight.Willow said i can use a spell to knock 
everyone but us in the mall asleep.Tracy said do it Willow we dont 
need for anyone to get harmed if we can help it and by the way make 
sure where you three are aiming before you shoot.

Willow quickly cast the spell after telling Buffy and the others to 
hold on to her while she did it.Cordelia said come on we need to 
reach the place where we encountered them in my vision.They walked 
out of the narrow hallway and Cordelia looked down the hallways and 
she said we are supposed to be right at that bench thats in front of 
the fountain.They ran down the hallway and quickly got into 
position.Buffy said i'll take out the Nodic demon,Cordelia you and 
Tracy take out the demon vampires,and Willow you take out the demon 
wolves.Willow said will do and i wont need my gun to take them 
out.Buffy said keep your gun handy just in case and Willow said she 
would.

They only had about to wait about thirty more seconds before the 
Nodic demon,the three demon vampires,and the pair of demon wolves 
turned a corner and started walking straight toward them.Willow said 
I'm ready and Tracy said wait a few more seconds we need for them to 
get in range.Buffy said Tracy what type of ammo is your gun loaded 
with.Tracy said regular 9mm ammo why.Cordelia said regular ammo is 
ineffective against vampires and Buffy said here load up with these 
handing her two clips of wooden bullets.Tracy switched the clips in 
her glock and she said thanks.A second later Buffy said they are 
within range and Tracy said wait until i give the word.

The next second the Nodic demon who was holding the leashes of the 
two demon wolves let them go and gave them the command to kill.The 
demon wolves immedietly started running toward Buffy and the 
others.Willow said i cant wait Tracy and she launched two fireballs 
one at each of the demon wolves.Tracy,Cordelia,and Buffy all started 
firing at the Nodic demon and the three demon vampires after Willow 
threw the fireballs.Willow was completely shocked when she saw the 
fireballs hit the demon wolves but didnt harm them in the 
slightest.Buffy saw this and she said whats up Willow.Willow looked 
at the demon dogs and she said damn those collars they are wearing 
protects them from magic as well as make them invulnerable to 
sunlight.Cordelia said Willow stop talking and take them out.Willow 
pulled both of her glock 9mm pistols and after aiming she started 
shooting.Willow emptied both twelve round clips into the demon 
wolves.The demon wolves both were down on the floor when she was 
finished but they were still moving around.Willow quickly reloaded 
both pistols and emptied them into the demon wolves to make sure she 
killed them.Buffy emptied one clip of silver ammo firing at the Nodic 
Demon but most of the rounds just bounced of his hide.Buffy reached 
behind her and she took out one of the clips containing the armor 
piercing incendiary ammo.Buffy slid the clip into place and after 
chambering a round she started shooting once again.These rounds did 
pierce the demon's hyde and he started crying out in pain as he was 
hit time and again by the bullets.After emptying the second clip 
Buffy loaded up with some more silver ammo and she shot him in the 
large open chest wound that the armor piercing incendiary ammo had 
created.The Nodic demon dropped to the floor after the sixth shot but 
Buffy continued to shoot just to make sure he wasnt playing 
possum.Cordelia and Tracy shot at the demon vampires but they quickly 
realized that the demon vamps must have some kind of bulletproof 
armor on because the ammo wasnt killing them like it should.Tracy 
said Cordelia what are we going to do the ammo isnt having any 
effect.Cordelia said we have to switch to another type of 
ammo.Cordelia reached into her purse and she pulled out about four 
clips of armor piercing rounds.Cordelia said load one glock with the 
clip of armor piercing rounds and load the other with the wooden 
ammo.Tracy did as Cordelia told her and then she and Cordelia started 
firing at the demon vamps.The armor piercing ammo went through the 
bulletproof armor the demon vamps had on and once the first glocks 
were empty they started shooting the ones loaded with the wooden ammo.
The three demon vamps disappeared in puffs of ash after their hearts 
were pierced by the wooden bullets.Cordelia and Tracy looked around 
and they saw that the Nodic demon and both the demon wolves were down 
looking quite dead.

Tracy said guys i hate to say this but we have to cut this shopping 
trip short we have to get back to the others.Buffy said she is right. 
Willow said i want to take these demon wolves back with us i want 
Xena and the others to take a look at them.Tracy said why and Willow 
said because we will need to prove to them that what we say is true 
and they might be able to learn something about the demon wolves from 
these two.Cordelia said Willow is right so lets go.Willow and Buffy 
were walking over to get the demon wolves when Willow spotted several 
somethings glittering on the floor right where the demon vampires had 
been when they went poof.Willow walked over to them and she couldnt 
believe her eyes when she saw three rings of Amarra on the floor.
Willow instantly picked them up and she said Buffy you and Cordelia 
come take a look at what i found.Tracy said Willow whatever you found 
can wait until we get back to the motel where its safe.
Willow said ok but i am going to search the Nodic demon before we go 
anywhere he might have more rings of Amarra on him.Buffy and Cordelia 
both turned to look at Willow and Buffy said Willow what are you 
talking about.Willow said the three demon vampires each had a ring of 
Amarra which is how they could walk around durring the daylight.Tracy 
said there are rings which allow vampires to walk around in the 
daytime even though the sun is up.Buffy said yes they are magical 
rings and up until now we had thought there was only one such ring 
but now we know differently.Willow quickly searched the Nodic demon's 
body and she found a footlong metal case in one pocket.When Willow 
opened it she saw it was full of rings of Amarra.Willow cursed in 
gaelic and she said Buffy this damn case is full of them.Buffy said 
bring them along we need to show them to Angel and the others at the 
motel.Willow slid the metal case in her coat pocket and then she went 
and picked up the second demon wolf.Cordelia and Tracy gathered the 
ammo clips and as they reached the police station Tracy ran inside 
and she removed all the video tapes from the security cameras so that 
no one would know what had happened.After Willow put the demon wolf 
in the back of the humvee she said guys i need to cast a spell to 
make the police officers inside forget that we were ever here.Tracy 
said good thinking we certainly dont need this to be traced back to 
any of us.
