The Big Bad

Summery:
After Willow and Faith shared a kiss. The night soon ended with willow making a polite excuse to leave. That same night Cordelia's visions returned.

Cordelia was on her way to LA. The vision she had the night before had lefther with a violent headache and butterflies in her stomach. Angel was being attacked and needed her help. She couldn't give him physical help like kicking ass but these visions were for him. The case he was on was getting messy and talking on the phone was no longer an option. 
Faith had stayed behind and had promised to sort out everything before joining Cordelia. 

Buffy and Willow were both surprised by Cordelia's sudden trip back to LA and the uncertainty of if she'd be back. Angel had missed her; mainly her visions and Cordy had felt 
She should be there. What was more surprising though was Faith staying behind.

Willow walked cautiously up the path to Faith's home. Looking around to make sure no one saw her then feeling silly at the cloak and dagger routine.
Her nerves were all over the place. She was sure Buffy saw the guilt written on her face. 'It was only a kiss' she kept telling herself. Choosing to ignore the excitement running through her body at the thoughts of Faith.

Faith opened the door wearing only a smile and grabbed Willow inside.
" I knew you'd come back to finish that kiss Willow" said Faith moving in for the kiss.
Willow hadn't taken her eyes off the naked slayer and all the rehearsed lines had gone from her head.
" Faith. I only came to tell you it was a mistake. I can't do the big bad with you"
" Willow you could of phoned to tell me that. I knew you'd be back because that kiss got us horny. You came here to fuck. Admit it to yourself".
Willow could feel herself getting wet.
" I don't think I did. I mean I love Buffy". Willow still watched the slayer in all her naked form.
Faith leaned in for another kiss and wasn't disappointed with the response. 
" Admit it Red. you want me. I turn you on. You want to try out a bad girl.Come on Willow, you know you want me. That's why I stayed here."
Faith moved in for another kiss. Willow let herself fall into the passion that was building up inside her. 
Faith pulled off Willow's jumper and bra and was welcomed by the sight of the wiccan. 
" Your hiding a mighty fine body there Red"
Willow had new found confidence at Faith's admiring gaze and stepped out ofher denims slowly.
"Less talk Bad girl. Show me what you got".
Faith was speechless. B was right. Willow wasn't so wilting.

A couple of hours later the phone woke them up. Faith dived for the phone.
" Hi B. No I haven't seen Willow"
Willow began to pick up her clothes. She wanted out of there as quickly as possible. The mention of Buffy was too much. Faith joined her.
" That was B. She asked if I have seen you. I didn't tell her I'd seen all there is too".
Willow interrupted her. She could feel her face burning.
" Faith don't. It was a mistake. I can't do this"
Faith began getting ready.
" Well the way I see it is we did the big bad. The big bad you weren't coming here to do. Come on Willow we both wanted it".
Willow headed to the door.
"This can never happen again".
Faith grinned and walked out the door with Willow.
"No. Of course not Willow. Anyway I'm meeting B now for our patrol. So 'tilnext time". 
Before Willow could reply Faith was gone.

" I'm really glad you stayed Faith. I think we need to talk."
Buffy had dusted a couple of vampires. Up to now they had discussed everything except the situation of before faith left.
" What's wrong? You seem a little edgy. Is Willow not putting out B. I meana slayer as certain needs after a good nights kill".
Buffy laughed. It was good to see Faith hadn't changed much since she had been gone.
"No. Willow is great. I need to talk about before you left for LA. There were a lot of things then that I was too shy to say. We both were to uneasy to say but things are different now".
Faith Interrupted. She didn't want to hear this. Not yet anyway.
"B. I think as long as you're with Willow then there is no point in this conversation".
"And you're with Cordelia. Yeah I see what you mean. But what if things were different".
Faith put her arm around Buffy.
"Then things would be different".

Willow was again walking up Faith's path. It had been a couple of days since they had sex. She hadn't seen Faith but Buffy seemed to be seeing her a lot. Willow wasn't sure if it was her guilty conscience or imagination but she could swear Buffy had started to distance herself.
Faith opened the door. This time she was wearing leather pants, a white shirt over with a black bra underneath. Clearly outlining the shape of Faith'sbreasts.
Willow's face blushed.
"Hi Red. I thought you were avoiding me".
Willow frowned at the awkwardness she felt.
" I just wanted to tell you. I just wanted...I need to talk to someone. I'ma little confused. I think Buffy knows that we...well you know".
Faith sat next to Willow on the sofa.
"Will. Buffy doesn't know anything. She is distracted though. I though I'd pissed her off or something".
Willow was aware of the closeness between them. She ached to just touch Faith. Loose herself in the passion she never knew could possess her.
The thoughts of Faith coming back to Sunnydale use to get at Willow. Remembering the nights Buffy would sit up crying over Faith. Over things she never told her. Chances passed that Buffy never grabbed onto with Faith. 
Back then Willow had been jealous of Faith. Glad she had gone, hoping any feelings Buffy had for her would go with her.
Now here she was, Willow. Making any excuse to see Faith. Arguing with herself. Watching Buffy distance herself from her. Then using it as a reason tosee Faith.
"Willow is you alright. You kind of zoned out there for a minute".
Willow held Faith's face. Bringing her lips closer 'til the electricity of the kiss exploded through her body.
She pulled away suddenly making Faith jump too.
" We can't do this. Its not right".
Faith was turned on and angry at Willow at the same time.
"Willow you have to make your mind up. You don't have to come round here kissing me to tell me we shouldn't. Use the damn phone for god's sake".
Willow moved to her. Removing her coat followed by her jumper leaving a trail of clothes to faith's feet. 

There was a knock on the door. Before either one could move Buffy let herself in.
"Willow. What are you doing here? What's going on"?
Willow hurried to pick up her clothes.
"I can explain Buffy".
Faith lifted up her hands and stood back from Willow.
"How could you Will. All the time you were getting mad at me. Jealous at the time I spend with Faith. You have an explanation for being nearly naked in Faith's home you tell me. Did a spell go wrong in the bath or something? Because right now. You got no other explanation except your fucking Faith".
Buffy looked to Faith.
" How could you? I thought you".
Buffy stopped in mid sentence. Willow knowing exactly what the end of the sentence was. Finished it.
"You thought it was you Faith wanted. Couldn't be anyone else. It must be Buffy Summers. Well you're not the only one to get admirers. I'm so sick of being took for granted".
Willow stopped out of breath from her outburst.
"Look B. It's like this. Willow came on to me. Saying something about wanting to do the big bad. Said you had to get over me or something".
Willow looked to Faith.
"What are you saying? You're the one who has wanted me. Tell her."
Faith shrugged.
" Come on B. You know I've always wanted you. I'm not the one half naked inyour home. I'd never want to split you two up. I'd never do it to Cordy. Imean I stayed here hoping to get a chance with you I admit. But I'd tell Cordelia before I'd do anything".
Buffy could feel her blood boiling she had to get out. 

Willow stood watching Buffy disappear out the door.
"How could you do that? Why".
Faith put on her jacket ready to follow Buffy.
"Because Red. I want Buffy. She would never have hurt you by leaving with me. But the way I see it. If you hurt her first then she's free to be with me. Sorry Will there was no other way".
Willow couldn't move.
"So it was Buffy all along. It was never me. What about Cordelia".
"Cordelia and me split before she left. She knew I wanted to come back herefor some reason. When I heard about you and Buffy getting together I was so pissed off. All that time I wasted thinking Buffy wasn't into that. To nervous to tell her and lose her completely. Then you just get in bed with her. Got to give it to you Red. You helped me deal with my feelings for B. Now I'm back to take what's mine. Want. Take. Have".

Faith ran to catch up with Buffy. 
"I'm sorry B". 
Buffy wiped away her tears and shrugged.
"Lets go and kill some big bad".
Faith smirked and put her arms around Buffy.
"You got it B. Anything you want".
