Initial response was NO Way. But I'm beginning to wonder. We had
high expectations of this season, and Bargaining gave us some
interesting twists and set up some great sub-plots. But after 8 more
episodes I'm beginning to wish they'd get on with it.

I think this is a little harsh. I thought it was entertaining, if a
bit disposable. But at least it wasn't dull.

This season's big problem: vanishing sub-plots.

Yeah, I was disappointed to see jonathan lose anything he had learned
about life from previous experiences. He's gone from tragic nerd
struggling to deal with a life he doesn't fit into to comic relief
villain.

Have to differ on this one. I've seen people get into this loop
plenty of times.

I'd have to make that 9 because of the tissue thin plot. Got to
leave a spot open for an episode this good with a plot that actually
holds together, ne?

Much more of a candidate for "worst ever" in my book. The whole drug
addiction parallel was crass and obvious. Continuity and
characterisation is bent to breaking point to set it up, and the
whole thing is just painful. If Rack never appears again I will not
miss him.

My summation: this season opened with a lot of potential. I wish it
would hurry up and realise some of it.

SnifflyFox (who went from flu to a cold with barely a pause. *sigh*)
