Surprisingly it is, there's a nice disjointed feel to it though.
There is a fracture in the mirror and the narration illustrates this
well.

About the only thing I had a hard time swallowing was Xander. 
Someone with his propensity for wit, even at the darkest times, wouldn't swear
so much. 
I could 'KINDA' get into the 'lack of will' everyone else was exhibiting being
somewhat shell shocked since this whole ring-ah-mah-roll began.

Honestly? The 'love making' was well done but weakened the overall 'Horror'.
I'd have left it off at the begining, when a reader can know what's going to
happen and gets wacked upside the head by the horror of it.

Since it was all from..er..THEIR point of view, it was rather cheerful.
Coupled with your ability with erotica the whole combination, while excellent,
weakens the 'Dark Factor'. From Tara's POV would have been chilling though.
