I'm totally loving this story. It is what Season VI
SHOULD be. 

I think you pegged the state that Buffy is currently
in. The whole part where you have Spike saying Buffy
will make a "most obedient and loving Childe" just
gave me the wiggins. Now this Spike is going to make
an excellent big bad.

You've laid some great ground work for a possible hook
up between Buffy and Willow too...especially if Willow
helps Buffy get out of the grips of Spike.

I can't wait to see what Xander will do. Will he
confront Buffy, or hold a secret Scooby meeting???
