A while ago we took a conscious decision to mirror the Season 6 
plotline, to add relevance (and thus humour). Although we are taking 
the plotline very loosely, hence setting Tabula Rasa after Gone 
(6.11).

(Whether it worked or not is another matter...)

This week's strip was based on Season 6, Episode 8 of Buffy, an 
episode called Tabula Rasa where Willow casts an amnesia spell.

We (Fox and I) found it amusing to take the essence of an episode 
(like this week's, based on Buffy working in a burger bar) and add 
the EVW element.

Xander: This is a people burger?
EVW (pointing): I think this bit's Tara.
Manny the Manager: See? I told you. 100% cow.
All: *Happy smiles*
