But?I'm afraid I can't share it. Yes, it was nice that Buffy was calm
and in control and went into the light, but she just closed the door on
the current relationship (the "dark place" that Buffy goes through).
Now we're up to Marti's infamous "they need to change what it's about,
or it's never going to last" line, as Spike transforms into "William"
and more Gellar/Marsters smoochies ensue.

See, it's fine if he beats her (yeah, yeah, she hit him too, but all the
battered women watching this DON'T have slayer-strength) and emotionally
abuses her. She just has to take control, make him clean his act up and
everything will be hunkydory. Gag.

Nice catch on Xander. In my review, I was upset about neither him nor
Buffy coming into the kitchen to help Willow, but this is not good
either. Although, to be fair, unlike Willow, he's never tempered his
feelings about Buffy's boys to suit what she wanted to hear. If he
hated Angel and pissed her off, I guess he can like Riley and do the
same thing.

Willow, meanwhile, simply waits for Tara to validate her life again.

**sigh**
