Well, I guess since Dan has put out a call for newbies
to speak up I'd better get this over with.

Hello all, my name is Alex and I'm new to this list. 
In fact, I'm new to the whole world of Yahoo groups
and
mailing lists. Over the past year I've watched my
wife
really enjoy herself and develop some friendships via
the lists she's on, so I thought I'd give it a try
myself.

I only started watching Buffy regularly last season,
but I really enjoy the show. I'm not as well versed
in all the history and details of the show, so I'll
ask for forgiveness in advance for getting any facts
wrong! 

Anyway, I'll stop rambling now. I'm glad to be here
and I hope I'll be able to contribute something (I 
think I said something similar to that at a job
interview once).
