To be truthful I was expecting Connor to be kidnapped at the end of the 
Season. Still I have a real sneaking suspicion that the Time-traveler guy is 
actually Connor, only he doesn't even know it himself. So when Angel 
eventually kills him, he will be fullfilling the prophecy.
