Actually, we do know what kind of people they'd be without Buffy; 
vampires(see 'The Wish'). 

And let me take the opportunity to once again praise our newest bard. Love 
the way you've captured Buffy and Willow's tentative first steps in 
establishing their relationship. I do see a dark cloud on the horizon; what 
will happen when Willow finds out about Spike. And, as long as we're on 
season six concerns, is Rack going to figure in the background somewhere?
