Xena pulled out her cellular phone and she dialed the number for 
Michelle's cellular phone.When Michelle answered it she said 
hello.Xena said hi Michelle its me.Michelle said Xena please tell me 
that you,Gabrielle,and my team of enforcers were able to find Buffy 
and the others before they did anything.Xena said well we found them 
but they had already retrieved their items and were trying to make 
their way out of one of the community's crib houses.Michelle was 
silent for a moment and then she said how many did they kill and 
Xena said they didnt kill anyone although they did use some 
flashbang grenades and a tranquilizer pistol on some of them.
Michelle said as long as they didnt kill anyone or hurt them too bad 
the mess can be cleared up without too much work.Xena said Michelle 
i didnt call you to tell you about what happened i called to tell 
you of another situation which has arisen.Michelle groaned for a 
second and then she said what is the situation.Xena said Buffy and 
the others it seems took their stuff with them when they left the 
motel and we have no idea of where they could be.Michelle said shit 
and then she said Xena how could you and Gabrielle let this 
happen.Xena said Michelle we didnt know they had taken their stuff 
with them and if we had we would have escorted them back to the 
motel.Michelle said i have to hang up now i have to call Marcus and 
Lassiter and get the enforcers start looking for them.

Michelle called Lassiter and told him the situation.Lassiter said 
he would have Aristotle check to see if they had checked into 
another motel or had rented an apartment in an apartment complex.
Michelle said as soon as it is dark i want you and the others to 
spread out across Toronto and search for them personally.

When Michelle called Marcus to inform him of the situation she got 
some good news in return.Marcus told Michelle that Angel was staying 
with Nick who had contacted him about an hour ago.Michelle said well 
now that we know where Angel is all we need to do is find out where 
Buffy and the others are at.Marcus said according to Nick Angel 
mentioned that they were staying at a temple in Chinatown but he 
wouldnt say which one.Michelle laughed and she said there is only 
one temple in Chinatown that a slayer would be willing to go to and 
its one we cant go to.Marcus said you mean they went to the Shaolin 
temple and Michelle said yes.Marcus said what are we going to do 
Michelle.Michelle said well at sundown i want you to go to the 
Shaolin temple and observe Buffy and the others but nothing else.

About ten thirty in the morning Kwai Chang Caine knocked on the 
door to the apartment that he had got for Buffy and the others.
Willow opened the door and she said good morning in chinese.Caine 
corrected her by saying it is almost mid day you and the others need 
to come with me so that we can start your workout.Willow said let me 
get the others it will take a few minutes for them to get 
ready.Willow walked into a room down the hallway and she shot 
Cordelia and Faith who were sharing a bed since there was only two 
beds and she and Buffy had used the other one.Cordelia said go away 
give me ten more minutes of sleep Angel.Willow said queen C its time 
to get up and Angel isnt here.Faith opened one eye and she said Red 
why are you waking us up.Willow said because Master Caine is here 
and he wants to take us to where we will be working out.Faith 
climbed out of bed and she said come on Cordelia its time we get up.

Buffy who had been awakened as Willow slid out of bed said come on 
Cordelia before i go get a glass of ice cold water to douse you 
awake with.Cordelia threw back the bedcover and she said ok I'm 
getting up but i am not happy about it.

When they were all dressed and armed with the weapons they chose to 
take with them they walked over to the door that Caine was standing 
beside.Kwai Chang Caine noticed the weapons and he said you are all 
armed.Buffy said yes after last night we all agreed that its best to 
go armed everywhere we go.Caine said you cannot take guns into the 
temple it is not allowed.Willow said we will place the guns in the 
box outside the temple gates.Caine said what of the other weapons 
and Buffy said me and Willow want to keep our swords with us and 
Faith and Cordelia feel the same about their knives,sword,and 
whiplash.Faith said we will want to workout with our weapons as part 
of the workout.Caine said ok you can take everything but the guns 
into the temple.

Caine led them downstairs and they used a set of tunnels running 
uder the streets.Caine explained that they were going to travel 
halfway to the temple via the tunnels in case someone was watching 
for them above streets.When they reached the temple Caine introduced 
them to nine other Shaolin Priests who would be helping him with 
their workouts.Cordelia said Caine why are ten of you going to help 
us workout.Caine smiled and said to help you catch up on your 
training will require at least ten of us for some of us must rest 
every so often when working out with the four of you.

They got right to work and Caine and the other Shaolin priests 
worked them for over seven hours straight without a break.Buffy and 
Willow were both ready to drop from exhaustion by this time and 
Faith and Cordelia had already done so.Caine aroused them by pouring 
water on them and he said follow me dinner is ready and you must eat 
before you head back to the apartment.They followed Caine to a table 
that was covered with bowls of food and plates which they were to 
eat from.They were all famished but they patiently waited until 
Caine had said a prayer asking that the food they were about to eat 
be blessed.They each served themselves one at a time from the bowls 
which were passed around the table starting with Caine.It didnt take 
long before all the food was gone and they were quite full from 
their meal.Caine said you may return to the apartment and i strongly 
advise you to go straight to bed for i shall be there to gather you 
at sunrise for another day of training.

Marcus was on the roof of a building several buildings away from 
the Shaolin temple and he saw Buffy,Willow,and the others leave the 
temple and they looked completely tired.The next second the Ancient 
said what are you doing here.Marcus turned to face the ancient and 
she said i am here to watch over Buffy and the others and see what 
they are up to.The ancient said they are going to the apartment they 
are staying at temporarily.Marcus said they arent staying in the 
temple and the Ancient said no they only go to the temple to workout 
they stay in an apartment.Marcus said what kind of workouts are they 
doing.The ancient said they are sparring with the best Shaolin 
priests here in Toronto.The ancient said they came to us because 
they had been letting their training slack since they came up here 
and they wanted to get back to where they should be.Marcus said from 
what i saw of them walking away they got more than they expected.The 
ancient said yes they did and they will get even more tommorrow for 
they will workout for at least eleven to twelve hours instead of 
just seven hours like today.

Later that night Marcus went to the Raven and he met with Xena and 
Gabrielle.Gabrielle said Marcus did you or the others find out where 
Buffy and the others are staying.Marcus said Buffy,Cordelia,
Faith,and Willow are staying in a small apartment in Chinatown.Xena 
said do you know where it is and Marcus said no i dont but i do know 
what they were up to today and what they are going to do tommorrow.
Gabrielle said what are they going to do.Marcus said they will be 
working out for about eleven to twelve hours at the Shaolin 
temple.Xena said well at least we wont have to worry about what they 
are up to while they are working out.

Marcus said by the way that reminds me the council of elders will 
arrive in Toronto tommorrow night be here and the following night 
they are going to want to meet with Willow and the others
