Cas,

While I can understand your being upset, I'm all for delaying
prerecorded programming (even "Buffy") for live events. Besides, Philly
gets off pretty lightly, since the 76ers are hidden away on Comcast.
Some cities I'm sure, have to duck basketball and hockey games. (I know
there have been hoop-related postponements in Detroit, Milwaukee,
Houston, and Phoenix, for example--although only Detroit and Phoenix
also have NHL teams).

That said, I was very happy to find that Buffy was moving to UPN (which
is sports-free here in LA), because the Dodgers caused several delays
last year. And now I've just found out the Dodgers are moving to UPN,
too! They're following us!  

So the finale might air on my birthday--but maybe not in LA :(. Oh,
well, patience?yeah, right!
