Yeah, we all have to have our delusions. At the moment, I'm sure it was
a retcon, but hopefully they'll retcon the retcon, or something?

Well, over the years, I've noticed myself occasionally confusing a dream
memory with a real one, so given the stress and the fear and the poison,
I can easily believe that Buffy believed her old nightmare had happened,
since that would give a stronger basis to her new one. Not that
Windsor's theory wasn't good, also, but I couldn't quite buy it.
