Not sure if this will help, I was a member of a club called the 
SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) which is a mediaeval study 
club, and I know there's heralds who have both books and programs 
that can do what you're after ... I think there's possibly a link at

but I can't be sure, I haven't been active in the club in years. 
Personally I was a herald specializing in norse history and 
linguistics as well as classic heraldry, but I know Latin and Gaelic 
were a commonly studied subject as well. Maybe writing to them could 
help.
