Delighted to see another new author posting here. (Especially one who
identifies theirself as such--I'm still embarassed at having made that
assumption about someone who wasn't.)

A delightful premise, going back at least as far as Marshak &
Culbreath's Star Trek fic, "The Procrustean Petard", although this seems
guaranteed to give us some slashy fun added in. Mishra is a nicely
logical development--you'd think Buffy would have some people holding a
grudge against her (besides Lyle Gorch, I mean).

Buffy should have no trouble convincing people who she is (after the
practice she got in "Who Are You"). Frankly, I think Riley's a good
enough guy to do the right thing, and my sick little mind is already
imagining him "taking one for the team" and then being shocked to find
out that nothing happened (since he's not the one Buffy really loves).
Snerk. Oh, well, maybe Forrest is still alive and Riley discovers he
likes his new hobby?

And is it just my racy imaginings, or is that title a particularly
naughty pun?
