Dan,

The worst part of FX is they didn't even reply to my email complaint. I was
kind and curteous as well, yet nothing. What's the point in having an email
address if they don't even care what the fans think?

If you want to know what was omitted from any given episode, simply go
to Psyche [ http://www.studiesinwords.de/ ] or BuffyWorld [
http://www.buffyworld.com ] or any site that has episode transcripts and
read the transcript. The stuff you don't remember seeing is the stuff
FX (die, FX, die!) cut.

Other famous lines to have been sliced include Giles's "A vampire in
love with a slayer? That's rather poetic, in a maudlin sort of way."
from "Out of Mind, Out of Sight" (I find this cut hilarious, since the
line subsequently turns up in about every "Previously." they do during
Season 2) and Spike's famously amazed line from "Something Blue", when
Buffy and Giles reassure themselves that Willow is doing better: "What,
are you people blind? She's hanging on by a thread! Any ninny can see
that."
