The first ep of Buffy I ever saw was 'Anne'. My friend had persuaded 
me to watch an episode so that I could legitimately be mean about 
it. So I watched the beginning of Season 3 and was hooked. My 
friend was terrified the next day that I'd have hated it because, 
let's face it, it's not a normal ep. But I loved it and am now a 
much bigger Buffy fan than she ever was. 

One of the main attractions of the show for me (other than the naked 
Angel in ep 3 that just cemented my fanhood...as well as the ever 
fabulous Ms Chase) was the strong friendship between Buffy and 
Willow. However, I never considered them as a couple until I read 
Pat Kelly's 'Two of a Kind Love'. I'd been reading his het stuff and 
decided to give this strange concept a try. I loved it. Then I 
joined the lists and found a whole community of lovely people and 
fabulous authors. Then I started writing fic of my own. 

Now I can watch eps and see subtext between B and W...previously I 
didn't. But then, I didn't notice any B/F subtext in Season 3 till 
someone else suggested it so I'm not the brightest person in the 
world.
