FB: Coming Apart - Parts 1-8

Anne-Lise.

I have been very remiss in my catch-ups and not FB'ing a great story, been
too busy doing my own story to get my head around to this. I plan to fix that
right now.

Part 1-2: Wow ... instant carnage, several major character deaths ... and
Will off into the black-eyed vengeance trip. And Quentin Travers returning ...
in spite of how Buffy feels about him, can't be good!

Part 3: Is Giles back on the council's roster? Wasn't he fired? And yay ...
Spike's back to his normal nasty self, a very welcome change. Ok, she's called
Giles's old boss in preference, wonder why? Is she upset with Giles because he
left her when she really thought she needed him most?

Part 4: So Dawn is surprised at finding Will and Buffy together, but she
had deeper feelings for Tara. LOL! A Gameboy? GILES??? Hmm ... well maybe in
this particular Buffyverse, Giles being such a technophobe after all. The
comment about Blade 2, in reference to WHAT THEY KNOW FOR REAL ABOUT VAMPIRES
and their subsequent commentary about the Daywalker is classic stuff, showing
your good sense of humour. And now 'mommy's home' ... the dastardly duo are
back together, good!

Part 5: Ok, what DID dawn overhear outside the bedroom door to be furious
with her? And a gun for Dru, interesting, Buffy's been known to dodge bullets
before. Hmm ... ok, Dawn must have been angry with Buff for taking so long to
come to grips with reality, if not then I'm a little confused. And she finally
confesses about Tara.

Part 6-8: The comedic statement of fatherhood being hell had the father in
me laughing out loud, I fully understand that having kids of my own. ROFL!
Riley's timing sucks rocks! One question though, 'heat signature' ... aren't
vampires warm only after a feed, and stone cold after a short while? Buffy's
not too concerned about Sam, so has she still got feelings for Riley, or does
she just not like Sam? Spike of course acts like he would, piking out and
hiding even when contracting out the kill, good characterisation.Lothar demons
killing slayers ... interesting, thought it was mainly vamps, but it makes
sense, through all the years, only some vamps would be responsible. LOL!
Riley's been demoted, and superseded by his wife?? Brilliant ego-buster! Oops
... Riley's taken a hit, that'll piss off Sam if she can get out of the demon
crossfire. And so of course, the evil trio of techno-losers are back in the
fray.

Very enjoyable so far Anne-Lise, you write with quick flair and quickly cut
to the chase, I'll look forward to finishing the next 3 chapters over the
weekend. Thanks very much for the story, and as Yoshi said, don't let the lack
of up front FB get to you, you've got a great story happening here.
