Re: FIC; A Journey Of A Thousand Miles (3/?)
Uh-Oh! Prophetic dreams definitely not of the good (nasty habit of
coming true, they have).
The carnage was properly disturbing and Buffy's breakdown was wrenching.
And I have to agree, turning would seem to be the ultimate end of B/S:
"I knew the only thing better than fucking a slayer would be turning
one," to paraphrase. Sooner or later, Spike would seek that higher
high.
And major props for including the Warren/Spike plot that promised much
in "Smashed" and has lain completely idle since.

PS--OTOH, the Beatles lyric is "who put all those things in your head",
not "in your hair". Although with Spike on the scene, it's an
understandable slip :)
PPS--CDS had a good point when he noted that sending mail apologizing
for multi-posts only clogs people's inboxes all the more. But then
again, he cross-posted that complaint to 25 lists, which IMO undercut
his high ground there.
(Don't worry, CDS, I only got it six times <g> )
