No.. it was advertised as 1 hour 10 mins. They aired the full version, just
a little faster no time was cut. So I am guessing they used the extra time
for commercials...!!

It's just a guess but the first airing of OMWF that aired here in the US
was several minutes longer than the normal Buffy episode. Subsequent
airings in the states have had scenes cut out. Your station may have
been trying to do you a favor by showing you the complete version but
didn't want to go outside of the hour-long restraints so sped it up to
fit it all in. But like I said, it's just a guess.
