You could take the as basis to a cure what a vampire is, is it magical of 
natural.
Say it's natural, it's a disease, you get turned into a vamp by something 
of virus that gets transfused by drinking the blood of a vamp. Find a 
medical way to reverse it. Say it's not one virus but also the blood turns 
you into a vamp and make genetic changes to your body.
To get a cure you need to find a way to eliminate the initial virus, 
reverse all changes made by it and remove all traces of blood of the sire. 
Genetic engineering is necessary for the cure, say the initiative have all 
the necessary ground research already conducted. There more than one virus 
active, each are responsible for changes like 
immortality/strength/speed/healing/senses and with each of these you get 
weaknesses. Aversion against sunlight/hollywater/cross/garlic/wood.
The lab used by adam is still active and has all the materials and 
instruments that are needed. Willow finds all the data necessary on some 
disk she took from the Initiative research computers. Say 5 or 6 dna stings 
have been altered.
Magical, the use of blood of the Mohra demon that turned Angel already ones 
human. Say all vamps keep their Soul, but by the brutal killing of their 
first victim, it gets shoved deep down and locked up inside of the vamp, 
only able to see everything but not to influence anything.

Early Morning" there is also a way to cure the vampiric condition. By
