Re: Re: Season 3 B/W wallpaper ("Name that pic")

Thanks Dan, glad you liked it :)

Anyway....

<<That's nice and thematic for
the whole "Willow and Faith fight for Buffy's love" arc, though—Faith
is exposed and runs off and Willow moves up to take her place and
comfort Buffy. >>

You know I never thought of it like that. I always liked that Willow came
running over as soon as Faith took off while everyone else is just standing
there gaping. I mean she pushed through everyone else and ran towards Buffy
:)

You know there has been the comparisons between Willow and Spike in the B/W
fandom this season. Willow understands Buffy the best while Spike
understands the Slayer the best. So they are the polar opposites of each
other, Spike on one side, Willow on the other. But when you mentioned the
Faith thing, that fits pretty well into that comparison too. Although I'm
not the biggest fan of the idea that Buffy and the Slayer are two seperate
entities. But I think it might be safe to say that Faith/Spike were the
definite bad influences, not just subtextually, but onscreen as well.

Ok, never mind me, I went off on a tangent LOL

<<I also noticed
that Willow runs after Buffy just after she sees a zombie punch through
the door and grab Oz, which is ridiculous (what, she wouldn't try to get
him free?), but still kind of 'shippy. So I guess I don't mind James
Whitmore Jr. being sloppy as much if it works for us.>>

Yeah I always wondered about that too. I mean there is Oz, Willow's
boyfriend, being attacked my a zombie. So what does Willow do? Latch onto
Buffy and go flying up the stair with her! LOL Bad direction, good shipwise.
That whole zombie scene in DMP was sorta sloppy. If memory serves me
correct, Cordy comes walking out of the kitchen when Buffy yells for help,
and Xander tells her to go. But when she gets into the living room, Xander
is either already there, or coming up right behind her. LOL
