Possible, of course. But then we have to wonder why Buffy and Willow 
left Dawn at home all by her lonesome to go on a *routine* patrol 
"last week" in Normal Again.

Looking over the season, it still seems to me that Will stays at home 
when W/T writers need her too; Dawn needs no sitter when Scooby 
writers need B/W/X elsewhere. See: plot-driven.
