Later that night about seven pm Willow and the others all stumbled 
back into the apartment.Cordelia who was completely exhausted plopped 
down on the bed nearest to the front door.Faith said hey Cordelia you 
need to take a shower before you go to sleep.Cordelia opened her eyes 
and she said let me take a nap for a while and i will get a shower 
later on.Buffy said thats fine with me and Willow that way we will 
have plenty of hot water for our.Faith turned to look at Buffy and 
she said dont forget that you two have to share the hot water with me 
and i am going to take a shower right now too.

At Nick's loft Angel was watching a video that had hit the shelves 
of a video rental shop that Nick had an account at.Angel was laughing 
at something that had happened in the movie when he sensed movement 
behind him.Angel reacted instantly jumping off the couch and turning 
to face whoever it was after moving about six feet from the couch.
Angel recognized Lassiter when he saw him and he said if you are 
looking for Nick i am afraid he is at work.Lassiter said i know that 
Nicholas is at work but it is you who i have come to see.Angel said i 
wont tell you where Buffy and the others are.Lassiter smiled and he 
said we already know that they are in Chinatown and are working out 
under the tutelage of Shaolin priests.Angel said if you already know 
where they are and what they have been up to then why do you need to 
talk to me.Lassiter said the council of elders will be arriving here 
in Toronto tonight and you and the others are to meet with them 
tommorrow night.Angel said ok i will pass the news onto Cordelia and 
the others.Lassiter said there is one more thing and that is that 
none of you will be allowed to go before the council of elders 
armed.Angel looked at Lassiter and he said i understand where your 
coming from Lassiter but knowing Buffy and the others like i do i 
have to tell you that they wont accept that.Lassiter said they have 
no choice they wont be allowed to go before the elders with any 
weapons.The next second Xena said Lassiter actually they will be 
allowed to carry their swords and any weapons besides guns or 
explosives.Lassiter looked at Xena and Gabrielle and he said no your 
wrong Xena because i talked to the council of elders right before 
coming here and no weapons will be allowed.Xena said Lassiter i need 
to speak to the elders because there is no way that Buffy and the 
others will agree to go to the meeting unarmed.Angel looked at Xena 
and he said Xena let me call Buffy and the others and explain the 
situation before we jump the gun.

Angel pulled out his cellular phone and he dialed the number for 
Cordelia's cellular phone.On the third ring Cordelia answered the 
phone and she said hello Cordelia Chase speaking.Angel said Cordelia 
its me i need to speak to you and the others.Cordelia heard a door 
open and she saw Buffy and Willow walk out of a bathroom.Cordelia 
said hold on here comes Buffy and Willow.Angel said where is Faith 
and Cordelia said she is still in the bathroom.Angel said Cordelia i 
was just told that we are to meet with the council of elders 
tommorrow night.Cordelia put her hand over the speaker and she told 
Buffy and Willow the news.Willow said Cordelia tell Angel that we 
will be ready but we need to know where the meeting will be held 
at.Cordelia did so and Angel said Lassiter they want to know where 
the meeting is going to be held.Lassiter said the location of the 
meeting hasnt been decided on yet and even if it had i couldnt tell 
you.Angel passed the word onto Cordelia and then he said by the way 
Cordelia none of us will be allowed to be armed with anything at the 
meeting.Cordelia said what the fuck are you talking about.Angel said 
the council of elders dont trust us armed so we have to go to the 
meeting unarmed.Cordelia said the fuck we do i aint going anywhere 
unarmed i dont care who the hell they are.

Buffy and Willow both turned to look at Cordelia and Buffy asked her 
what she is talking about.Cordelia said according to Angel we are to 
go to the meeting unarmed.Buffy said give me the phone and Cordelia 
handed it to her.When Buffy got on the phone she told Angel to pass 
the phone to whoever had told them they had to be unarmed at the 
meeting.Angel said Buffy wants to speak to you Lassiter.Lassiter took 
the phone and he said hello Miss.Summers.Buffy said is this Lassiter 
and he said yes its me.Buffy said Lassiter i am afraid that you are 
going to have to tell the council of elders that us being unarmed is 
totally unacceptable.Lassiter said Buffy you dont have a choice none 
of you do.Buffy said Lassiter your wrong we do have a choice you see 
we dont have to go to the meeting instead we can catch the next 
flight to Sunnydale.Lassiter was shocked and he said you cant refuse 
to attend the meeting it would be a severe insult to the council of 
elders that they couldnt let pass.Buffy said its not meant as an 
insult and you need to explain that to them when you talk to them.

The next second Xena said Lassiter let me speak to Buffy maybe i can 
set up a compromise.Lassiter handed the phone to her and Xena said 
Buffy there is no way the council of elders will agree to any of you 
having guns at the meeting.Buffy said well what will we be allowed to 
have.Xena said your swords and any other personal weapons that you 
and the others have.Buffy thought for a moment and she said ok thats 
acceptable to us but you need to see if the council of elders will 
agree to it.
