I do understand. I think this hurts even worse than when Xena died. 
At least she went out like the warrior she was and didn't revert back 
to the evil Warlord.

The characters become important to us because we need them in our 
lives and in our realities. They become archetypes of what we'd like 
to be, what we're afraid we are, and what we know we probably will 
be. 

Rob Tapert and Lucy Lawless (producer and Xena) both agree now that 
they went too far with the show's ending and didn't get just how 
important the relationship between Xena and Gabrielle was to the 
fans. I wonder if Marti, David and Joss are wondering about that now?

I'll do what I can to change my small part of the Buffy universe. :)

Your emotion describes the season in a nutshell. Sad. It breaks me 
to see the friendships shattered, relationships twisted and the 
characters acting totally outside of themselves. 

Maybe Joss will pay more attention next season.
