? First, let me say welcome to the list, and let me also apologize for
leaving your posts hanging on "pending" status yesterday. (That's just
a little thing we do to make sure new members aren't really just
spammers [we had some attacks in March] and I've already bumped you up
to unmoderated status, so you won't have to worry about it any more.)

? And you come bearing fic! Excellent.

? Not only that, you've pulled feedback from a couple more new
members. Hi, David and Brian! Thanks for remembering to feed the
authors. Remember feedback leads to fics just as surely as fics lead to
feedback. Keep it up.

? I'm always incredibly jealous when people say they spotted the B/W
love right from the beginning; I myself am a relative latecomer to the
'ship. Which really has nothing to do with anything, but I just thought
I'd mention it.

? The concept of Buffy having always been gay is a dandy (one I've
been kicking around for a while). Certainly her character arc seems
more gay than Willow's, IMO. Delighted to see someone take this concept
and run with it.

? And you've run with it very nicely. Poor Joyce, having to explain
hormones and sexuality to a six year old. Like color to a blind man.
[Was going to put in a Marti Noxon joke here, but why ruin a perfectly
nice fb?] Can't wait to see what comes next.

? The only technical (boring list rules) request I have is that you
label your fics like this in the subject line: "FIC: In the Beginning
[1/1]" or "FIC: In the Beginning (prologue to To Thine Ownself Be
True)". Makes it easier to find them when people are going through the
archives, too.
