That is up to you, the writer. For me it is. Simple eh?
I could not do what I do if simply told. Creating a Primal Slayer, fully
subscibing to the concept of 'The Wild' cannot be told. I cannot tell YOU, the
reader, what the Wild is and how I see it and then hope what I feel resonates
to YOU to a certain degree. In those terms the odds are for more in your favor
if you ...(Clears throat) SHOW DON'T TELL!!

God, I love doing that.
