I certainly don't mean that ep discussions are the *primary* focus.
They're simply allowed, and of course, tend to proliferate this time of
year.

When Rod promoted me to moderator, interest and posts were kind of
flagging. It seemed that getting people talking was the first step to
getting them ficcing, and so I've encouraged more discussion about the
show. It may annoy Mad-Hamlet, but the fic count is way up. Look at
today: We've got two chapters from Inell, one from Pedder, one from
Hunter, two snippets from Anne-Lise (one chapter-length), a couple of
chapters from Macbeth (which I believe are reposts, and should be
labelled as such, btw) and that lovely painting from InvidereAmo. That
was ten days' worth in February. And it's not even 1:00 pm, Pacific
Time. (Apologies if I've missed anything...)

So, yeah, a little chatter (actually less on "Grave" than on other eps),
but that just greases the wheels of the great fic-writing machines we
have on this list. And I'll continue to believe that, at least as long
as nobody throws the words "Post hoc, ergo propter hoc" in my face...
(oh, let the birthday boy have his fallacies, won't you?)

PS--OT, W/Angel is certainly a favorite of Aly and David's (Aly said in
'97 that they were always campaigning for it), but I have to worry about
the "making-Buffy-unhappy" factor before I can get into it. Because
Will wouldn't step on her life like that, to my mind. Still, a good fic
can dodge those objections. (Angel has to stay nice, though, because I
can't stand those fics where the dumb girl goes "sure, he murders, but
he's sexy", and doing that to my Willow really pisses me off. JMO.)
