Dan,

You know what the biggest thing about this season, and the final 3 or so eps 
the most. It taints everything else. I find when I go back and watch some 
of the old eps, and Willow will say something about the magic, yada yada 
yada, I'll think 'yeah, look how that turned out'. You know what I mean?

I go back to 'Choices' and the 'I have a shot at being a Bad Ass Wicca' line. 
And why she was staying in SunnyD, and it just ticks me off that I 
immediately start thinking about what happened this season.

Besides the fact, if you really want to think about it. If Willow hadn't 
stayed in Sunnydale for Buffy then she probably wouldn't have gotten so deep 
into the magic. Plus Tara would still be alive because she never would have 
met Willow, never would have been in her bedroom etc. And all because Willow 
loved Buffy too much to leave her. Do you think any of them realize that. 
In a roundabout way, EVERYTHING is because of Buffy and Willow's bond. So to 
see it get destroyed the way it was this season was really pathetic.

I don't know if I'm being optimistic, or just a glutton for more punishment. 
But I guess I'm willing to see if it gets worse next season or possibly come 
back from the black hole of crap it sunk into this season. And if it doesn't 
then we always have the fantastic fanfic from here to see us through :)

And about the shooting script, I didn't see a whole lotta stuff cut out, but 
one or two of the directions kinda seemed a bit more shippy than what I saw 
onscreen. Or maybe it was just me, don't know.
