It wasn't "Popular", it was "Grosse Pointe", which aired on the WB later
on Fridays. 

This was the hilarious send-up of 90210-style drama, which sadly got
sent to "too good for TV" heaven after 17 eps. Ep 16, "Passion Fish",
featured SMG smooching Lindsay Sloane, who played Marcy Sternfeld.
(yes, Sarah kisses Jewish characters on TV! Just not the right one,
darn it!)

So, Sarah's girl-kiss count is up to at least four: the one with Selma
Blair in "Cruel Intentions", the reenactment with Blair at the MTV
awards, this one, and the smooch with Linda Cardellini that was cut from
"Scooby Doo". Gee, you'd think Willow could get some lippage, just on
the law of averages, wouldn't you? Sigh.
