Yep, the rest of the world doesn't have to wait for syndicated repeats.
Once the ep has shown on Seven or BBC2 or wherever, it's time to roll
out the DVDs.

For example, the "Angel" Season 2 DVDs are now available outside of
Region 1 (US/Canada), but since we have to wait until Season 5 is
finished before the syndicated repeats start, and then wait until the 22
eps of Season 1 have been shown, we won't see any "Angel" DVDs until
late March/early April of 2005. (Really hating the fact I didn't tape
"Sanctuary" now, yes I am...)

Oh, well, all good things come to those who wait, and other useful
cliches. ("There'll be pie in the sky when you die"??)
