Hi everybody!

First I want to say thank you for the tremendous feedback on the fic.
It may be an all-time best for me; I'll have to check. Apparently
there's a nice market for B/W sweetness, huh? Who'd'a thunk it? ^_^

While I normally reply to feedback off-list (and I'm going to reply
personally to each one of you, for both this fic and "Ew!", honest!), a
couple of the replies raised points I wanted to discuss in general. So,
here goes:

Both Wren and The Bear asked about a sequel. (Well, I think Wren did
more than "ask" <g>) I don't really see this as having a sequel; I
wrote as just a little plot-free moment in time. Buffy and Willow are
in the same room and can't stand to be apart, moving from 2 beds to 1
bed. The End. That's why I haven't even fixed the chronology to a
specific S4 moment: this could, to steal the title of one of Kimber's
fics, happen "Any Given Night".

Besides, what's for the sequel? Sure I could do hot sex in the morning
(no, I want to keep this soft'n'fluffy) or an angsty "telling" fic, but
those would be different sorts of stories. Lacking a larger story that
I want to tell, I'd much rather leave this self-contained. After all,
it's not like I don't have enough series a-dangling, right?

However, I could see doing other vignettes in what could be a series of
loosely connected moments about B/W in bedrooms or beds or going to bed
or watching each other; that sort of thing. But those will come as
they come, I'm not going to force them.

Oh, and I do have another, separate, fic about fluffy S4 dorm love about
half-written, so that'll pop up sooner or later. Heck, a lot of stuff
will pop up sooner or later. (How's that for vague?)

On to the fic itself. WillowX wrote:

Score one for the lady! Yep, that was a reference to the impending
"usurper". That's why the line read "once dawn comes" rather than "once
the dawn comes". :)

(I was wondering if anyone was going to catch that...btw, did anyone
spot the references to "Anne", "Casablanca" and pro wrestling's Booker
T?)

And that little note was inspired by the discussion we had here about
Dawn diminishing the B/W friendship. Cas, was that your point? (I
really have to start marking down who said what, if I'm going to be
referencing the points and giving proper credit.)

Mind you, I like Dawnie when she isn't being annoying. Okay, obvious
oxymoron potential, but she's one of the few new characters who's there
to be something besides someone's s.o., so I want to straighten her out,
not throw her back.
