Red Willow,

Just catching up on this one. This is the kind of fic I can't review
without flinching a little, because it makes me so annoyed. Not at you,
at the show, because what we have here (honest communication; issues
being confronted, albeit with typically messy results) is what we've
come to expect of the show and the characters, and what we never got
this year. (Because "we're stupid" ha, ha, ha, let's laugh at the
audience for taking it seriously.)

Anyway, moving from that and sticking to the fic..

Very credible description of why they're not talking, but it's not the
rift that was unbelievable in canon, merely that they never attempted to
resolve it. (Sorry, had to mention that.) Liked the smackdown on
**Spike** as someone to make you "feel". (Yeah, because he's so
emotionally deep) And I particularly loved the reuse of the "Innocence"
theme: "you'd rather be with..." Willow's never been one for shallow
physicality and from Cordelia to Faith to Veruca to Spike, being
rejected because (she feels) she's not attractive enough has always cut
her to the bone.

Willow's got Buffy in her head, but Spike's got her in the sack. Poor
Willow. 

Well, I hope part 3 makes it better. And thanks for sending it in text;
the attachment was described as "a type of information MSN can't use"
when I tried to open it.
