My personal opinion of this, Fox is just after the money.
They don't care about the fans, they don't care about the sites, they don't even care about the
content that they are 'shutting down'.
All they want is money, and by forcing the ppl who search for information visit their own sites,
they think they can get more money.

It's the same reason why they wouldn't let the WB keep the show, they wanted more money, more than
the WB was willing to pay. Now inhowfar that was a good or a bad thing for us I'm not going to get
into, but it shows what I mean.
UPN has the rights for the show for season 7, and I wouldn't wonder if Fox thought that is enough.
They had the show for 7 years, everything else doesn't matter, just money.

For them it is simple. The show is most likely gonna end after this season, so there's no reason for
any remaining fan sites to stay around, those that are watching the show now will keep until the
end, and for new viewers it's a bit late.

The internet is a large place, and if it would go like the large companies wanted, then they'd
control the internet fully.
It's sad that AngelX closed her site for the most (taking down the picture galleries and the
spoilers) but that's the wrong way.

The only way to fight them is to keep up with what we've been doing, no matter what they 'threaten'
us with. Until their 'Legal Actions' take place, and you get a paper from a court that you have to
follow, there's no reason to do what they tell you to.
In my opinion, vidiot (www.vidiot.com) has proven that simple fans can do it.
As long as you credit the authors of pieces for their work, and make sure that you declare that
nothing on the site is yours, the companies can't do much, simply because THEY are the ones who give
out the pictures and everything else for FREE for the fans. If other websites pick it up, their own
fault, and for everything that isn't their own stuff, like pictures taken on official circumstances,
they can do even less.

Don't let them win, fight them in every way you can.
