December 22nd

At seven o'clock in the morning the electronic radio alarm clock in 
Buffy and Willow's bedroom switched on playing a song from a radio 
station in Los Angeles to wake them up.Buffy's eyes popped open 
instantly and for a few seconds she looked down at Willow who was 
laying on top of her.Buffy reached over with her left hand and hit 
the button to turn off the alarm.Buffy could tell that Willow was 
awake because she was starting to try to get as close to Buffy as she 
could which wasnt possible since they were as close as they could 
get.Buffy said come on Willow we have to get up now if we want to be 
in Los Angeles before ten o'clock.Willow raised her head and she said 
Buffy remind me why we have to go to Los Angeles.Buffy said because 
we both want to do some last minute christmas shopping and we also 
have to go pick up Xander's gift which just came in a couple days ago.
Willow said your right but i sure dont feel like getting up out of 
bed right now.Buffy said neither do i but we need to do it because 
Christmas is only three days away.Willow said ok lets get up.Buffy 
threw back the bedcovers and then they climbed out of bed.Buffy 
stretched and then she said Willow which do you want to do today get 
the clothes or prepare for our shower.Willow said I'll get the 
clothes i dont want to run the risk of you choosing one of my leather 
catsuits or some other leather outfit which might get me 
arrested.Buffy grinned and she said i would never choose one of them 
for you to wear when we are going shopping at a mall i would be sure 
to get arrested if i hit someone after they said something derogitory 
or tried to come onto you.

On the other side of the second floor Amy and Tara snuck into Xander 
and Anya's bedroom and went over to the crib.They both looked into 
the crib and saw that Jennaine was starting to wake up.Tara said 
she's right on time and then Amy reached into the crib and carefully 
picked Jennaine up making sure to get Jennaine's blanket as well.As 
Amy was heading for the door Tara picked up the diper bag and a box 
of wipes that were next to the crib.Tara quietly shut the door to 
Anya and Xander's bedroom and then started following Amy toward the 
staircase that led to the main hall.

Buffy put on her bathrobe and then she headed for the closest 
bathroom to her and Willow's bedroom.A minute later Buffy was almost 
to the bathroom when she saw Amy and Tara walking toward her and she 
saw that Amy was carrying Jennaine in her arms.Buffy ran forward and 
when she got up to them she said is there anything wrong with 
Jennaine.Tara said there is nothing wrong with her we are just 
watching her this morning.Amy said we asked Anya and Xander last 
night if we could watch her this morning and they jumped at the 
chance since that would enable them to sleep in.Buffy looked at 
Jennaine who still hadnt opened her eyes and she whispered i will see 
you guys later.Amy said ok hopefully we will be able to heat up one 
of her bottles before she wakes up completely.

Willow walked over to the closet door that their clothes were in and 
she flipped on a light switch that was next to the door.Willow walked 
into the closet and she started looking at the outfits that belonged 
to Buffy trying to decide what she would like to see Buffy wear 
today.After a few minutes Willow walked out of the closet carrying 
outfits for both her and Buffy.Willow stopped at a dresser to get 
them some panties.

When Willow entered the bathroom she called out to Buffy so she 
could show her the outfits she had chosen.Buffy looked at the outfits 
and she said they are perfect for going shopping.Willow hung the 
outfits on a strap that was on the back of the bathroom door.Willow 
and Buffy quickly undressed and then climbed into the shower which 
Buffy had just activated.For the next fifteen minutes Willow and 
Buffy washed each others hair and bodies until they were absolutely 
certain that the other was completely clean.As they were blow drying 
their hair Willow said its a good thing we got a second water heater 
specifically for this bathroom we would be taking hot water from the 
other bathrooms if we didnt.Buffy said yeah and my mom,Giles,and the 
others wouldnt stand for the long showers we take for a split second 
if it meant they wouldnt get enough hot water for their showers.

When they exited the bathroom they went back to their bedroom.Willow 
and Buffy put on socks and then chose what shoes or boots they wanted 
to wear.Willow looked over at Buffy who was sitting on the bed and 
she said Buffy which of the vechicles do you want to take since we 
cant take the motorcycles.Buffy looked up at Willow and she said why 
cant we take the motorcycles.Willow said Buffy there is no way we can 
carry anything we buy much less Xander's gift on the motorcycles 
without drawing the attention of the cops.Buffy said your right and 
then she said lets take the humvee.Willow walked over to the coatrack 
which was right next to their bedroom door and she got her and 
Buffy's leather longcoats.Willow handed Buffy her coat and then took 
her sword from Buffy.Willow slid the sword into the scabbard that was 
sewn into the inside lining of the leather coat.

As they were getting ready to walk out of their bedroom Willow 
grabbed her keys and their purses and Buffy grabbed her cellphone 
from the top of the dresser where it had been recharging overnight.
Three minutes later Buffy and Willow were walking down the staircase 
that led down to the main hall when they saw Joyce approaching the 
staircase.Joyce heard someone coming downstairs and she looked up and 
saw Buffy and Willow.Joyce could tell by the outfits they were 
wearing and that they had their leather coats on that they were going 
someplace.As Joyce got a few feet from them she said where are you 
two going this early in the morning.Buffy said we are going to Los 
Angeles to do some last minute Christmas shopping.Joyce looked at 
Buffy and she said Buffy you always leave it to the last minute to go 
buying Christmas presents.Buffy said i know but thats when some 
stores ussually have the best sales.Willow said actually Joyce we 
already have most of the Christmas presents we are going to be giving 
away we are just going to go shopping for a couple last minute 
items.Buffy said we are also going to go pickup Xander's christmas 
present it just came in a couple days ago.Joyce said well you two 
have fun but please be carefull.

In the kitchen Tara was taking her turn in holding Jennaine while 
she drank the last of the milk in the bottle she was sucking on.While 
Tara was doing that Amy was preparing to change Jennaine's diper 
which she would do once Jennaine was finished because she knew 
Jennaine would need a diper change.
