Lieutenant Kirk entered Willie's bar and he hesitated for a couple 
seconds while looking around before heading straight to the bar.One 
of the vampires sitting at a table he passed by said what are you 
doing here pig.Lieutenant Kirk turned to look at him and said i was 
sent here by Captain Mathews to tell all of you something.When he got 
up to the bar Willie was waiting for him and Willie said officer 
arent you on duty.Lieutenant Kirk said yes i am and i am here to tell 
you guys something really important so can you please turn off the 
sound system.Willie nodded his head but said this had really be 
important my customers dont like to be interrupted.

After the sound system was turned off Willie said everyone please 
turn your attention to the police officer he says he has something 
important to tell us.Lieutenant Kirk didnt raise his voice because he 
knew that all the vampires and most of the demons had better hearing 
than humans.Lieutenant Kirk said earlier today two federal agents 
came to the police station.One of the vampires yelled you interrupted 
us because two feds visited the police station.A second later Kristos 
jumped down from the rafters landing on the bar and he said silence 
lets hear him out.Lieutenant Kirk said thanks and then he said they 
came here to investigate the high yearly death rate that this town 
had several years ago.Willie said what did you guys tell them.
Lieutenant Kirk said i dont know what Captain Mathews told them but 
he believes they will be coming back so we need everyone to be on 
their best behavior.Yolanda stepped out of some shadows and said if 
they are just investigating the death rate this town had years ago i 
really dont see any problem for us.Lieutenant Kirk said they are also 
investigating all the animal attacks but what is important is that we 
try to make sure they dont find out what they shouldnt.Kristos said 
Lieutenant Kirk is right so spread the word to your communities that 
everyone is to keep a low profile for the next couple days.Yolanda 
said Patryc we will need to increase patrols to make sure none of the 
trouble makers try anything.Patryc said ok but we will need some more 
volunteers if we are to cover the whole town.Willie said officer you 
had better go tell the slayer and her friends they need to know about 
the feds.Lieutenant Kirk said Captain Mathews is going over to tell 
them personally.

Buffy and the others were almost finished eatting dinner when the 
phone rang.Joyce said I'll get it and then she got up and walked over 
to the phone.Joyce picked up and she said hello Guardian estate Joyce 
Summers speaking.Captain Mathews said Ms.Summers this is Captain 
Mathews i need to speak to all of you.Joyce said if you will hold on 
i will get everyone to go to the living room so we can talk to you 
over the conference speaker.Captain Mathews said hold on what i have 
to say i need to say face to face and i am just right outside the 
front estate gate.Joyce said I'll let you in and then she hung up the 
phone.When she walked into the dinning room Giles said Joyce who was 
it.Joyce said it was Captain Mathews he says he has something which 
he needs to tell us face to face.Willow looked at Giles and she said 
i wonder if it has anything to do with the two feds he was meeting 
with earlier this afternoon.Xander said what are you talking 
about.Buffy said me and Willow stopped by the police station to drop 
off some pistols we thought the police who work night shift might 
need and we were told by Sergeant Jason that Captain Mathews was 
meeting with two FBI agents.Giles said this could be really serious 
and Joyce said well i had better go open the front gate so he can 
come in.Amy said wait Joyce he could possibly have the two FBI agents 
with him.Giles said i doubt that he would have had someone warn us 
before he and them got here so we would be prepared.Buffy said wait 
mom we need to get the tote bags and other stuff out of sight just in 
case they are with him.Giles said put them in the hidden passageway 
we will lock them up in the armory later on after he leaves.

In Los Angeles Mulder and Scully were reporting in at the FBI's 
office.Agent in charge Ruchars said did you two find out anything 
from the Sunnydale police department.Scully said we were told quite a 
bit sir but until we go over the files we were given and go over 
other information we wont be able to tell if we were told the truth 
or not.Agent in Charge Ruchars said well take your time and do a 
complete thurough job.Agent Scully said we dont do anything less than 
that unless we are pulled off a case by our superiors sir.Ruchars 
said well i assure you that you will not be pulled off this case if i 
have anything to say about it.Ruchars said thats it you may go and 
Mulder and Scully walked out of his office.

Mulder looked at Scully and he said you know he is one of the first 
really nice agent in charge that we have met that i really liked.
Scully said thats because he was really nice while at the same time 
completely serious normally we work under the agents in charge who 
pretend to be nice or are just assholes.Mulder said i wonder what it 
is in Sunnydale that stuck in Ruchars craw to make him want us to do 
a complete thurough job most agents in charge want us out of their 
jurisdiction as soon as possible.Scully said maybe we will find out 
in one of those files we are given.Mulder said come on lets go find a 
nice motel to check into and then get something to eat.Scully said we 
dont need to go find a motel to check into i got us a reservation at 
the Montgomery Hilton before we left home.Mulder looked at Scully and 
he said Scully i am surprised by your forsight.Scully said it wasnt 
forsight Mulder i am just damn tired of having to stay at flea trap 
motels because everywhere good is already booked.

Captain Mathews parked his police car next to the montana and then 
he climbed out.He was met at the front foyer door by Buffy and she 
said come this way.At the same time Willow was manning the controls 
for the foyer security system and she deactivated it for a minute 
when she was given the signal by Giles.Buffy said Captain Mathews 
please follow me and she quickly walked through the foyer and he 
followed her.Captain Mathews looked around once he stepped out of the 
foyer and he said boy this is really a nice place you guys have 
here.Joyce who along with the others was standing next to Giles said 
thank you we redecorated it after Willow bought it.Buffy said yeah 
the way it was before was totally drab.Giles cleared his throat and 
then he said Captain Mathews if you will please follow us to the 
living room we can sit down comfortably while you tell us what you 
came to say.

Once everyone was seated in the living room Captain Mathews said 
earlier this afternoon i was visited by two FBI agents who came all 
the way from the head FBI office.That got everyone's attention and 
Giles said we already knew that you had been in a meeting with two 
FBI agents.Captain Mathews said thats right Buffy and Willow stopped 
by the police station while they were there and were told by sergeant 
Jason.Buffy said how did you find out about that.Captain Mathews said 
you told Lieutenant Kirk and he passed the word onto me.Captain 
Mathews said Mr.Giles you and the rest of your group are going to 
have to be very carefull for the next couple days and nights because 
i strongly believe they will be back.Xander said sir exactly what are 
they here to investigate.Captain Mathews said it seems that this 
towns old yearly high death rate and the so called animal attacks 
have caught up with us.Buffy said oh damn thats the last thing we 
need them investigating.Giles said yes quite and then he said Buffy 
Willow for the next couple days i am suspending the nightly patrols.
Buffy said Giles you cant do that.Giles said i have no choice we cant 
take the risk of them encoutering you two durring one of your patrols.
Willow said Captain Mathews you had better send someone over to 
Willie's bar so that he can spread the word to the vampires and demon 
communities they need to know about the FBI agents and the danger 
they might represent.Captain Mathews said i already sent Lieutenant 
Kirk over there.Giles said Captain Mathews what exactly did you tell 
them.Captain Mathews said i told them that this town used to have 
quite a bit of problems but we had got it under control after the new 
Mayor and Chief of Police were elected into office.Giles said Captain 
Mathews please keep us informed and Captain Mathews said you can 
count on it.After standing up Captain Mathews said Mr.Giles i thank 
you and everyone here for the five Calico pistols you gave to the 
police department.Giles was caught off guard by this but Buffy 
quickly said your entirely welcome and i am just glad that you guys 
will be able to protect yourselves somewhat with them until help can 
arrive.
