In Season 2, the premiere, "When She Was Bad," at the end of the ep, Buffy ground up the master's bones with a hammer. There's really no way they could have put them back together, but with Joss, I guess everything is possible. The bastard. Grrr... sorry.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see though.
